He refused to fight for Agamemnon as he had promised breaking his word because some dispute with a slave girl that he wanted to keep for himself to fuck. Then when his "best friend" Patroclus is killed by accident in a battle by Hector he gets so angry and goes to kill Hector.
Not only that, Hector says that Patroclus was wearing his armor and he thought he was killing Achilles. Returns the body to Achilles and apologize.
Achilles kills Hector and drags his body 3 times around Troy in front of his parents and family.
