I like Spawn, but that hell CGI scene was bad even back in his time.
not as a "best representation" but it looks pretty bitchin in Constantine

Why was Spawn so unreasonable with Malebolgia?
Hellbound: Hellraiser II.
Was that Hell? or just another dimension?
the inevitable biopic of my neet years

first thing I thought of
Definitely Hellraiser lore Hell, but nothing biblical based.
I have a soft spot for The Black Hole. It was ahead of its time. Event Horizon and this movie are fairly similar in themes.
Not that shit show of a movie thats for sure
kino
>endless labyrinth full of "pleasures"
>chaos god blaring on the horizon
yep
I can’t believe Disney made this and Tron. I know people consider this era Disney’s low but it had my favorite movies.
Massively underrated. Try to find the uncut bluray torrent if you dont have it yet.
Star Wars
Hell is the absence of god. So basically this world.
>>ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone
Galaxy of Terror is not too of a shabby depiction of hell, i'd say

>That Godflesh Streetcleaner frame
the house that jack built was interesting
Bill and Ted
good choice
but God is omnipresent in creation
not a movie, but the coolest depiction of hell are wayne barlowe paintings
maybe if you're 15 years old
Based

The Burning Moon

As much as the book is terrible, I really liked the depiction of the Devil's Palace in The Scarlet Gospels and how it was a huge massive complex just dedicated to him trying to kill himself
last starfighter was alright too
The House that Jack Built

Soul Plane
Real life
that score is beautiful
thx, will watch it later because of that image
I had the black hole action figures (all of them) as a kid. The only one I still have is maximillian. Bet if I had them all today they would be worth quite a bit. Oh, an outstanding movie BTW. I had the book with 45 record and read it at least 100 times
This thread makes me want to rewatch the first Hellraiser movies.
Jacob's Ladder deserves a mention. It isn't the conventional image of hell, more like a fucked up psyche ward.
In Bruges
it's just earth but with a dust storm going on and some CGI goblins screaming. Nothing like the comic.
I don't see it. Hell shouldn't be depicted by showing scary monsters but rather by showing a sheer limitless amount of depression and helplessness.
Bruges was purgatory, not hell
Then you'd love his work
Agreed
Spawn hell looks like real hell.
My favorite movie of all time.
But DESU was never released on blu ray, it's coming now for members of this Disney club or something.
I wish he would’ve went more in-depth when he finally reached hell. It kind of ended too quick
>DESU was never released on blu ray
????
Great acronym of the movie is the same as to be honest...
kino
great setpiece and excellent music friend, ty for sharing. haunting flute melody.
Yeah, the scene looks like a Beksinski painting. The rest of the film is great as well.
See
Yeah, I should re-read my own post, what a great joke. Based word filters m8.
Was going to post this. Absolute masterclass in cinematography and atmosphere. I still believe that mountain was the twisted wreckage of the Cygnus.
kino
It's really amazing. He's a good artist.
Hahahaha
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey was pretty kino desu
The Human Centipede
