Is it kino or nah?

its good. second season gets so awful i gave up and didn't pick it up til over a year later. just a fair warning.
its probably one of the best shows of the past five years.
It's quinoa.
S3 gets back to kino
dropped it after s2
mind numbingly awful
exactly.
Confused why you think that. Season 3 is much worse than 2 IMO
The only episode I ever hated and nearly dropped was S2, the sitcom episode
Watched all three seasons, it's pretty good!
It has its moments. There's some shoe horned political shit in S2 that makes no sense, but S3 gets it back on track.
Best character desu
>muh drumbf allegory
>muh random acts of gay
>muh pop-culture
its not great

I don't really watch TV, I usually stick to films. The only other series I have watched fully on my own volition is Peep Show.
I love this show though, I think it's great. I don't even mind the 'political' stuff. I rewatched all the series recently, and I can't remember it. When White Rose is watching Trump on the TV?
My only gripe that springs to mind is Angela's character. I really want to know what they have in store for her. People online are saying White Rose is building a time machine or some shit, and that's what caused all the brown outs?
And they pull the 'Elliot did you forget again?' a bit too much.
I hope S4 delivers.
S3 kept me going after I nearly dropped it during S2.
>people dislike the sitcom episode
wtf
and what's up with people hating on S2 in general
and Price best character
Elliot being an unreliable narrator as a whole is becoming a little bit annoying. Hoping that season 4 continues like season 3 where we can actually trust that what we're seeing is reality.
This show is EXTREMELY underrated though. Definitely one of my favorites
Facts, season 2 brings in Dom and Leon, some of the best characters. its a little slow but a lot of information portrayed was needed for payoff in S3
Do you have recommendations for other shows? Like I've said I'm new to TV.
My only stipulation is that it's fairly short, only a few seasons. The main reason I usually stick with films is because they're over and done with a couple hours and I can move onto something new. I don't want to have to deal sitting through 'bad seasons', etc.
Not the other dude but watch Homecoming, same creator as Mr Robot. Very short, ten half hour episodes. I almost didn't give it a chance but it is easily one of the best shows I have seen in the last ten years.
The show could have been kino if it had more sex scenes in it. Show had plenty of qt's in it. Elliot should have fucked most of the girls including his sister in a drug induced trance
It would have been kino
they all have weird lips.
Love Angela in business attire with her hair pulled back in a pony tail.
Fair enough
i really hope they do a good job rapping it up.
one more season, so many questions, bringing back characters, the fucking Congo.
why was it cut down to 4 seasons? im worried because didn't Sam Esmail says since the begininng he's had the story planned out from the start?
Mr. Reddit
>nah
Cringecore for netsecs.
>dude I'm so lonely and miserable people don't understand me
>has sex in the first episode
Literally the only episode that happens
Honestly wrap it up, I hate when shows go too long and lose their magic. Also season 4 should be nuts it all takes place on Christmas Day as the characters hop between alternate universes and time with the machine Whiterose built[/spoilers]
wew, i cant wait for the outrage if the time machine shit is actually real.
That's a natural reaction but it shouldn't be the standard just because they keep failing.
Probably all in Elliot's head or some shit
only part i'm looking forward to is Whiterose being burned by Price
Baccano! 12 episodes plus 3 bonus episodes. It is anime. But even if you hate anime, you should enjoy it.
But he's cute sexy so that is realistic
I lasted about 4 episodes.
Hated most of them.
When I heard that he is Christian Slater (ala Fight Club) I gave up.
I genuinely can't remember what happens past Elliot getting released from prison and I don't want to rewatch it. Someone spoonfeed me the cliffnotes.
what, season 2, or season 3 as well?
>that "1 take" episode
Just S3. I can piece most of it together until the S2 ending where Tyrell shoots Elliot, which is when it gets fucky with the UN annexation/Whiterose's master plan shit.
everyone (rightfully) dropped mr robot as soon as esmail rewrote the show to fit it trump even though it doesn't make any fucking sense and with that cringe rant in episode 1 everyone FUCKING dropped the show
Elliot tries to fuck with Stage 2, but White Rose goes ahead and blows up 71 Ecorp facilities instead of just the NY one. Sends Angela crazy.
You and your pol buddies from discord isn't everyone dude...in fact i can't believe people don't consider the show based because the creator implies that china put trump in power. It's bold to dab on China like that
Gang realised they're in too deep so works with FBI.
But FBI had Dark Army rat, brings them all to a barn to get executed.
Elliot cuts them a deal to get WR's thing to the Congo.
Mr Robot realises they're in too deep so finally works together with Elliot; tells him that the key to unlock all the encrypted data is on a CD at home.
Elliot finds out that Mr. Robot and the Chinks want to blow up a building with hundreds of people in it. First half of the season is him and Mr. Robot trying to stop each other from ruining their plans.
Tyrell flashback shows what he's been up to after he disappeared at the end of S1 and how it lead up to him and Elliot meeting again.
FBI Dyke gets some focus with Darlene and shows her how the FBI already knows everything about F Society. Darlene becomes an informant.
Whiterose manipulates Angela into believing her time travel plans and so she backstabs Elliot to help Mr. Robot.
Elliot manages to stop the explosion at the building after an internal shizo battle but it turns out the building was just a diversion created by Whiterose to distract Elliot and Mr. Robot from the real plan which was to blow up 71 E-Corp facilities all over the country.
Thousands of people die and Angela suffers a mental breakdown because she was a key factor in the attack. The Muslim girl and the fatty (forgot their names) get killed by the Dark Army and branded as Iranian terrorist scapegoats.
S3 ends with Elliot claiming that he has a Stage 3 in mind for the plan but when he meets with the Chinks he infects their network with a virus that could reveal all the data of the Dark Army. Before he and Darlene are killed he offers Whiterose to help with transferring all their digital work to Congo which was annexed by China which Whiterose accepts. The FBI dyke is forced to become the new informant for the Dark Army and they are all allowed to leave. Mr. Robot and Elliot finally become friends and they revert the 5/9 hack that started all of this.
Elliot swears to himself that he'll destroy the Dark Army and a post credit scene shows the psycho drug dealer who killed his gf appearing at his door.
Also Angela is revealed to be Phillip Price's daughter which explains why he cared so much for her over the course of the series.
Very comprehensive. Thanks user.
Will ramiposting be back on the menu once Season 4 begins?
The first season is worth watching. Do not waste your time after that, you'll thank me.
>The show could have been kino if it had more sex scenes in it
I actually agree with this. Show subtly hinted at sex possibly happening between characters down the road only for nothing to happen. Gave the audience blue balls. Only sex that actually developed was FBI lady and Darlene.
I actually thought that Elliot was going to fuck his therapist in later seasons
SOOOOOOOOPHIE
season 2 was dogshit. No kino.
It's too frustrating. Even though the story and directing might be good, the presentation is so obviously TV-show-like with exaggerated cliffhangers and other viewer bait, to the point where it actually breaks the immersion. It is constantly reminding me that it's not real, it's just a show.
is that the one with the riot?
when the fuck is the new season out?
October
>Elliot fucking Darlene
>They both hug and comfort each other back at Elliots place
>Slowly leads to sex since they both under the influence of drugs
>Elliot is on top
>Darlene slowly realizes in horror it's actually Mr. Robot
KINO
There is stage 2? Season was boring so stopped watching after 3 episodes.
KEK
I honestly thought that it was going to turn into a cat and mouse game with Dom and Elliot being destined for each other. FBI agent falling in love with the hacker she's tracking down could have been kino
>There's some shoe horned political shit in S2 that makes no sense
Fat dude: "Darlene, you're angry speech really reminded of Bush."
It sounded really out of place and poorly performed like the Star Wars prequels.
They should do a George Lucas retouch where all Bush-shitting is replaced with Drumpf-shitting.
>you're
How the fuck can't Americans even write in their own language hahahahahahahaha
Mr. Reddit
I remember liking season 1 then season 2 being really subpar. Like, writer's strike level subpar.
Fell off after that.
>more sex scenes
Unironically this. Sex sells and it really was lacking considering how many attractive actresses the show had
FUCKING KEK
awful dude
But that's the best episode of season 2 you fucking pleb
>babby's first greentext
dickhead, it was a drug dealer and he was high
if you think lonely depressed losers can't get laid when both parties are high of their minds, then you need to unironically do drugs
the annexation bit is the most retarded shit ever, its the 21st fucking century, no one directly annexes anything, did they decide that the average viewer is too retarded to understand something more complex?
this show would've been better without the weird synthetic pervasive sense of dread they try to cram as much as possible into every episode.
the guy's a depressed junkie head case they don't need to make it more dark and sinister. i really can't stand the soundtrack to this show, it makes it ten times worse.
also he's the only good character, the sister the friend and the whole chinese time machine tranny are all terrible characters that are terrible written.
the pacing is really bad as well.
esmail was clearly trying to predict the future with the first season, he kind of got lucky and tried to roll with it for two more seasons but had zero luck making predictions for them.
dude, did you see the twist at the end of that episode? what a slow burn!
what a tweeeeest
then fuck off
>implying Reddit has the attention span for this
S3 is fucking horrible
