i don’t remember this movie at all

look at the top of his head!

I liked it
I still watch it every now and then

is it anywhere near as good as PTA's best (TWBB, Magnolia etc)?

It aimed for (and absolutely hit) the narrowest target in the universe...avant garde Yea Forums fags.

>PTA Gravity's Rainbow when?
>fucking never, but just imagine...

1. Magnolia sucks
2. Inherent Vice is great. The best one he's made since TWBB. And I've liked all of them TWBB.
3. TWBB is probably his best.

Are you a wizard?

1. Magnolia is kinography
2. TWBB is definitely his best
3. Phantom Thread and The Master are much better than Inherent Vice

Gets better with every new watch. So great.

Yes.

A product of love and mutual respect, and considering this is Pynchon, that's saying a fuckload

GR film should be a black and white 3D animated silent
but a world beautiful enough for that to happen wouldn't have produced the book to begin with

I liked pic rel too

The faggots who dislike this are the same ones crying about how Blade Runner is kino. This movie was great. I'm sorry it's not Drive.

Would you like a fave with that upvote? Sort by controversial

is the noir genre, dare i say it, better than ever?

Based
Cringe

You have good taste user

It kinda peters out at the end but I really like it.

Why would someone argue about BR or BR2049 being kino? Kind of established.

As the novel was a tough read the translation from book to film was confusing due to being dealt w/ by such an auteur director as Paul Anderson.

Wish there were more slacker noirs

>the novel was a tough read

>Pynchon
