>not a cameron film
based on a technicality only. he had his hand in all aspects of the production (aside from actually directing it)

ya SEETHE

Avatar will be soft-rebooted and become a part of MCU. Pic strongly related.
Screencap this.

He's a nuterminator shill, he can fuck off

only because they're actually adapting his story

>aside from actually directing it
That's basically the most important part of being a film maker, and it's especially evident in this case where Cameron made his mediocre Avatar script into a great movie by virtue of his talent for directing, but another mediocre script by him turned into a stinker because it went to a bad director who can't elicit good performances or stage compelling action.

what the fuck are you talking about lmao
JConn was great, Mahershala Ali was great, Christoph Waltz was great, even Ed Skrein weas great
and the action was fantastic throughout
just look at that underground fight scene
adn most importantly none of that felt like anybody else's vision except Jim's, and none of it felt like it was realized or carried out by anyone but him(even though it "technically" was)

>none of that felt like anybody else's vision except Jim's
That's an odd thing to say about a movie that existed only to copy scenes from an OVA and manga from the 90s.

h-hey Ji-Jimbo, how about you give me Alita 2?

the only thing i want james to do is oversee a new release of terminator 2 on blu ray all the versions we have now are shit even the 4k is shit

>JConn was great, Mahershala Ali was great, Christoph Waltz was great
They were all extremely flat, couldn't hold this opinion if you have seen them in other films
>even Ed Skrein
"Even" shouldn't apply here, he was one of the only good performances in the film
>the action was fantastic throughout
It was really floaty and cliche, lots of digital snap zooms, slow motion and violence without consequence.
>none of that felt like anybody else's vision except Jim's
I'm seriously doubting you've actually seen any of James Cameron's films. They're emotionally and physically intense, Alita was flat and dull.

>emotionally and physically intense
you're the one who should be doubted about seeing his films if you believe alita wasn't intense physically or emotionally
was her continuing to fight even though all of her limbs except her left hand were severd not intense?
was her cutting her own tear in half not emotional?
everything about this film screamed James Cameron, the pacing, the tone, the themes ,the look
if you can't see that you must be blind

His only good movie is the first Terminator
T2 is quippy children shit
>dude let's fuck up the time loop of T1
>dude lets make the terminator a good guy
>dude lets make john connor an annoying pos
>dude "I'll be back" omg he said it
>dude "hasta la vista baybee" omg epic
This fag ruined The Terminator and Alien

>was her cutting her own tear in half not emotional?
absolutely not considering the scene had zero justification or context. the big problem with the movie is it kept trying to copy scenes it hadn't actually earned.
