Wouldnt recommend jumping into psychedelics alone for the first time. Always try for your first few times to do it with other people who are also tripping plus 1-2 people who are sober and arent fucking assholes (theylll help you calm down if the trip becomes too intense)
after a few experiences in that scenario you will be comfortable tripping by yourself.
My last trip I took about 5 grams of gold cap shrooms by myself and binged an entire season of Star Trek Voyager while Radiohead's In Rainbows was playing in the background on repeat. One of the best, and most peaceful nights of my life.

I did acid with a friend once and he completely freaked out and started smashing up his house. other sober friends had to restrain him and ambulance came to sedate him and took him to hospital. made me realise how frail the human grasp of reality was. he was kind of a mental midget. he couldn't let go of everyday shit and dive deep into the trip. it's like he wanted so badly to cling on to his everyday trivial existence but he couldn't and he started spewing out all this subconscious shit

I've done psychs before. but not alone. if anything I found other people really distracting to my rabbit holes I was trying to go down. other people made me way too self conscious about how I was appearing. and they kept asking questions like "what does it feel like" "what are you thinking" etc

yeah, that's kind of what I mean by "assholes" albeit loosely.
I've dealt with drunken retards trying to "freak me out" because they knew I was tripping, and I made sure that never happened again. But even sober people who are "fascinated" by the fact youre tripping gets annoying and I put them into the "asshole" category." You really just gotta find the people that know what youre experiencing becuz they have done it themselves and just want to make you comfortable instead of questioning you or trying to intentionally make you have a bad trip.

But if youre experienced I highly recommend tripping by yourself. Just make sure the mood/atmosphere is right for you. Indulge in what you love (creatively) such as drawing, painting, listening/composing music, reading/writing, or your favorite kinos. Also combine whatever makes sense. Like I said, I binged Season 5 of Voyager and listened to a Radiohead album for almost 30 hours straight and had one of the greatest days of my life.
