>they gave Governor Pryve massive tits intentionally
It was based
They knew exactly what they were doing
The new Thrawn novel was better than average, but so very close on keeping him as a mary sue character.
t. Disney kike
The one that came out the other day?
I'm so far behind on them, still haven't finished Alliances.
I hope they don't shoot the cannon in my bum
and shoot poo all over the place!
Poo poo!
Why didn't Disney just make the sequel trilogy the Thrawn trilogy? It can't have been they didn't want to pay royalties to the original writers, can it? Those movies would have been amazing, they got a great actor to voice Thrawn on Rebels and he could have done the live action as well.
Rian said only the movies were canon
>they didn't want to pay royalties to the original writers, can it?
No that's not how it works. It was probably a matter of wanting to tell an original story instead of knock off someone else's.
Early copy from SDCC. Haven't finished the last chapter yet.
Rian is stupid.
MOMMY PRYCE GIVE ME YOUR IMPERIAL MILKIES
mosed based
I know, but he isn't wrong about that
Well he is, several other things are canon, most importantly TCW
All the recent books and shit are canon
Fuuuuck. I only just finished the originap thrawn trilogy and read Tarkin last summer. Is the new Thrawn book even worth it in comparison?
Yeah...an original story...like The Force Awakens.
A few reasons. They wanted their own gurl power propaganda story. And lets be honest across 3 books there is onpy enough visual content for 2 movies max. You would need to pad it out somehow
I heard all the new thrawn books are decent
Definitely. It's the same author after all.
It's a very different kind of book though. It's more of a biography of Admiral Thrawn that shows how he rises through the ranks. It's not really a story where he's an antagonist
>their own gurl power propaganda
The female protagonist was George's idea though from the start
