Weekend, Contempt and then Vivre sa Vie are my top three.

Throw in masculin féminin and I'm in

I saw a screening of Band of Outsiders recently and fully expected it to be a "lesser" film of his due to the apparent online consensus of it, but I enjoyed a lot. Maybe his best

I'm not a big fan of his films, but i haven't seen all of them. I quite like Pierrot le Fou.

Vivre sa Vie

Cute

The whole massive car pile up scene is my favorite.

Waiting for Godard, no question.

Le Petit Soldat is very underrated. It was censored by the authoritarian french government.

Band apart

Je vous salue, Marie

Vivre sa vie, Bande a part and Alphaville

I've only seen Vivre Sa Vie and Masculin Feminin, and I like both a lot, but Masculin Feminin is better

Has anyone else seen pic related? Good pastiche of his style and shows just how redpilled he is. Of course he hated it.

Seen it twice. I like Hazanavicious, and like his comedies. To make a pastiche you need to study and understand the subject, and he clearly does. But the end result seems bland and souless and never gets to the highs and lows and great creativity that Godard films from the 60s have.
>Of course he hated it.
What movie from the last 50 years he doesnt hate?

Vive sa vie was great

I think he likes Abbas kiarostami
