Never because movies can't be more than 3 hours or so and therefore you can't get nearly as invested in a movie as you can in a good game that goes for 60+ hours. You get to know the characters in RDR2 way better, you spend so much time with them, you get so engrossed in the world that it creates a much deeper and more emotional connection than any film.

The game itself was meh in a mission sense. Just riding around, exploring, fishing, and hunting was amazing though. But the story was 10/10(if you remove the Gurma chapter) watching him slowly realize the error of his ways and wasted life while slowly dying and watching everything he believed in fall apart was just rough.
