I think it's because of how disconnected everything is. Every shot just kind of starts and stops really clunkily with no connecting threads between them. Everything feels like it's taking place in a completely different location. Nobody reacts or cares about anything that happens to them or anyone else. That fucking "who's that green guy" line is so phoned in it belongs in a RedLetterMedia video.
