We all know The Walking Dead (show) is pretty shit. You have to give it to Andrew Lincoln though. He is an incredible actor and carried this show for 8 seasons

hey isn't that the kid's show with a Tekken character in it?

So now that is confirm the movie will be in theaters what are we expecting lads?

Yeah he is really great and I always bought him as rick, would never have watched as long as I did of anyone else played rick.
Hope he goes on to do great movies or shows, would love to see his talent in a better product

season 5 rick was peak kino

You still don't get it.... NONE OF YOU DO

heh

Mostly, yeah. But even before he left it had really run dry with constantly bouncing between trying to be peaceful and work together and being violent and killing people they don't agree with. It just kept doing that with no progression to either idea.

Plus he ran out of things to do by about season 4, maybe early 5. After that it's all recycling. Kudos to Lincoln for not completely dropping the ball.

I agree. Perfect casting. I don't think tv Rick is nearly as good as based Comic Rick, but no one could've pulled off what Lincoln did with the character. Not to mention he can grow that badass Rick beard

Andrew Lincoln is a TotalBadAss haha. Luv the walking dead! Great thread op haha, I always upvote walking dead!!

*Edit- whoa didnt expect that, my highest voted comment is calling Rick a badass. Thanks for the gold kind stranger!

damn acting in that scene was oscar worthy

So we can all agree The Walking Dead used to be good right? At least Season 1? Hell I even enjoyed Season 2. But around season 4 I think is when it really started to go downhill, and fast.

No, only the pilot episode was kino. It’s always been trashy entertainment.

Literally the only reason I didn't drop it the last couple seasons.
Everyone was always bitching and complaining and telling rick not to murder people and that he's an evil bad man, but he was always right in the end and justifiably murdered anyone who fucked with him or his group

Nowhere near as bad ass as comic Rick but pretty fucking close. The War season had some pretty great Rick moments.

Shane was right all along
*scratches head*

when he left the show, i left the show. he lead the stable, he was the point man, the reason that the show even started.
it was a dumb idea to let him go
>things dont get better because you...-WANT- them to
that line alone, actually kino

WRONG

The first season was good. Amazing how it immediately went to shit afterwards.

Season 5 is really good desu

You are bigger cancer than the things you think are cancer

Darabont = kino

Even season 1 was pretty shitty. The first two episodes make for a decent little zombie movie though.

Someone post the webm where they split a bullet with a axe

That doesn't happen

zombie tits

Based black women

that was the other walking dead

So when is he going to join the MCU?

So wait. What did they do ?

I thought seasons 1 & 2 were pretty good, stopped watching after ~4, I guess the very beginning of apocalypse is what's especially interesting to me. Shaneposting made season 3 great.

Is it? Honestly I dont remember much of it. I dont think i hated it, but after season 5 or 6 is when I stopped watching.

part of me wants to go ahead and catch up again and finish what I started

I liked season 2 as well. I just know a bunch of people absolutely hated it. I guess maybe the difference for me is I didnt watch seasom 2 until after the whole season had aired, so I watched the whole season over a couple a days. Meaning them looking for the little girl didnt seem drag on as long for me.

It was actually pretty good from s4-6. The negan saga carried it through to 9. Now it's ded

just like he carried this life and teachers
based egg

Negan is literally the only reason I still watch it. Once they kill him off, which they obviously will, I'm done with it.

Rick was only good when he was in his sheriff outfit

Absolute retardation. Here are the facts.
-Season 1 is overrated. The pilot is good, the rest is a meandering mess.
-Season 2 has some very well-written drama and themes that carry through the season.
-Season 3 starts out strong, but it's all a little cartoonish and it overstays its welcome.
-Season 4 is absolute kino. The direction, writing, and arcs are so strong. Everything except for the episode where Daryl and Beth try to find alcohol is perfect. "Too Far Gone", "The Grove", and the Governor POV episodes are flawless.
-Season 5 starts to lose its way. The attack on Terminus introduces "superhero Carol" and everything after that until Tyrese's death is pretty boring. Beth dying pointlessly is kind of a shark-jumping moment. Tyrese's death is given the appropriate tone and I think everything after it in season 5 is pretty good. The Alexandria stuff, in particular how we see that what Rick's turned into is incompatible with Alexandria, is all great.
-Season 6: who gives a shit?
-Season 7: I literally watched two episodes before I called it quits. It just seemed like it was dragging and going nowhere.

Fear the walking dead is better.

Not rhe user you are replying to, but when did these opinions start becoming popular on Yea Forums? I remember people here used to enjoy season 1. fucking HATE season 2 (except maybe the last several episodes). Thought season 3 was weak to start with and then was just okay. Season 4 was good. And then season 5 is when the show went to complete shit.

absolutely

These opinions aren't popular on Yea Forums. Most people think season 1 is some great work of art because muh Darabont. The pilot's good, the rest isn't.
Season 2 is unironically a pleb filter. It seems boring because it's all on the farm, but it rises above that thanks to good writing.

Yall missing out on based Negan

Except most people seem to hate S2 because the arc searching for Carols daughter lasts for fucking ever.

Agree with OP. And I thing TWD has too many scenes each episode, its like they made a series based on a novel, and instead of using the most important parts, they film all the pages.
