In the interest of immersion, I like a degree of accuracy in my tv shows, movies, literature, and video games about historical periods. Yes, even if other aspects of the piece of media require some suspension of disbelief. If black people want to be represented, they should make their own movies with their own characters or focus on African history in their media, like Black Panther for example. That way I can avoid it.
