god, i'm not sure why but i can't fucking stand physical movie collections, they seem so fucking wasteful to me, you can watch that entire shelf worth of movies in a month or 2 and then what? you've seen them, you might rewatch some of the better ones over the course of your lifetime but still..

I've been thinking of building up a physical collection. Do you think I should wait til they start putting out everything on UHD or do you think Blu-Ray will still be the standard for awhile? Because it seems like it would be a waste to spend a ton of money on Criterion Blu-Rays or whatever and then they immediately release everything in UHD, which I'll of course want to replace them with.
