That one and Cannibal Holocaust.

Men Behind the Sun or August Underground's Mordum

It's the goriest movie ever.

Fantastic film

On a literal level, maybe, but the presentation really takes the edge off

I was a bit disappointed he didn't bump the budget for the violence scenes in Brawl In Cell Block 99
Had some pretty imaginative shit but it looked undercooked

Top of its genre

Came here to post this

Hackson peaked with this

I can handle gore in movies, but Bone Tomahawk really unsettled me. The realistic way in which the violence is depicted is grotesque.

Does it count if it's funny?

P U S S I E S
it's a good movie, but it isnt shocking or anything, just really immersive

Same here

the priest kung-fu’ing the zombies and the lawnmower scene get me every time. Top Kiwi Kino.

Finna slice dis nicca in helf lmao

Why does know one talk about the tonal shift that happens right after they head out to find his wife? Am I supposed to take the movie serious after those hilarious sounds the Indians make? Theres literally one good scene and its the only scene anyone shows the guy being sliced in half and even that shifts with the stupid roars

Fun fact about that movie.

>Mom loves Westerns.
>Buys it at Walmart expecting good ol’ fashioned Western.
>We watch it together.
>She was not impressed. Nor was she expecting that level of gore.
>I tell husband about movie, says he wants to show it to friends.
>Bring it home.
>Father in Law also loves Westerns, but hates horror.
>Sees cover and wants to watch.
>I repeatedly try to warn him, no avail.
>He too was not expecting that level of gore.
>Both said they didn’t like it.

Is somehow the cover of this perfect western loving boomer bait?

The scream sucks ass but I was able to tolerate it a BIT more when they showed the weird bone bodymod they shove in their throats. If the sound effect wasn't something that sounded like it came from the same sound pack as that Jurassic Park T. rex roar then it wouldn't be nearly as bad.

lol to all the pussies in this thread, there was only like a droplet of gore in the movie LMAO, literal snowflakes. Checkout The Human Centipede 2 for some nice grotesque gore, Cannibal Holocaust, and not so much gory but The Possession 1984. Obviously Saw movies

the most pathetic post on Yea Forums

What the fuck are you saying

cool story bro

He's talking about how his hubby, mother, hubby dad and friends were all turned off by the gore, which there was only a droplet of lmao

>implying it’s not a femanon

>husband
He's announcing he's fudge-packing faggot. Pack your bags, queer, you've had your month already.

It wasn't even that unsettling. The atmosphere at least.

lol

lol it's just a joke girl, chill

>I'm gay if that matters

The whole cave sequence is seared in my brain. Top tension.

Its a fag watching for the ass cleave scene

Why is it so bad?

If "she" has a dick, "she"'s no femanon. And trust me, she has a dick.

i don't think bone tomahawk is that gory desu, and i'm saying that as someone who doesn't like gore

the actual bone tomahawk scene made me squirm but iirc the rest of the movie was pretty okay i thought

>the fight with the evil baby in the park & the homeless dude cheering
top kek

>it's a tough internet guys try to impress people about how much they weren't affected by gore episode

Everyone calls it a horror but it felt more like old west meets x-files.

In terms of realism, its probably Midsommar.

Creatively, that single scene in Bone Tomahawk

Literally, Tokyo Gore Police

It's not really "movie like." The violence is sudden, it's realistically shot, and there's no musical accompaniment. It's just raw, primal violence. It's hard to explain.

Some French torture porn where they just slowly torture a girl and completely skin her by the end of the movie

Like the other user said there is just something very real about the way it is shot and portrayed. It doesn't feel like movie violence, there is no music, it comes out of nowhere, and it very real and brutal, you kinda just have to watch it to understand.

Martyrs. Its not that gory, just especially cruel and focused.

I fucking hated that movie. The first like 20 minutes are fantastic revenge porn that had me rooting for the girl, then the film just becomes the most depressing, dark, sadistic shit I have ever seen. It's fantastically well done, but I fucking hate it.

The ending was kino though. Assuming we are talking about the same movie

this is a good description

i've seen plenty of "worse" things in gory movies but nothing shocked me like that scene in bone tomahawk. wasn't really expecting it at all

Martyr yeah. There are lots of dark and depressing films that I love and can enjoy, but Martyrs is one that I will never watch again.

Honesty bone tomahawk was pretty tame not trying to sound edgy. Most violent films that have top tier gore is hobo with a shotgun, I saw the Devil and Brawl in Cell Block 44

It's not really the amount of violence in BT that I found disturbing, it was more the way it was handled.

this had potential to be a great horror movie. Instead it's pretty stupid. Good tension though

grifter

>see Martyrs first when I was a teen
>pretty sick shit, was a good watch

>rewatch it a few years ago in my mid twenties
>the only response was that I actually laughed when the dude started hitting the chick

I love À'lintérieur and Martyrs.

What's gory about it? They didn't even show blood when someone's throat was cut. Watch Inside or Martyrs, bro.

dat hivemind

Are you new to watching film? Midsommar?

samefaggng this hard
