huffflepuff is chad. Gryffindor is sjw territory

>Gryffindor
>sjw
>not Ravenclaw

Why would you want to go to Hogwarts? Why not Pigpimple?

>Gryffindor: arrogant self-righteous jerkoffs
>Ravenclaw: "I Fucking love science" 2smart4u incels
>Slytherin: future school shooters
>Hufflepuff: normal people

hmmm... what did Rowling mean by this?

That blond kids are psychos?

send the weirdest message
remember being miffed about if when I was like 9

Most people who watch Harry Potter are grown ups.

Why didn't you read this autism kino yet?

Attached: hpmor_logo.png (900x320, 50K)

I don't actually read.

i would prefer slonking dank weeds in huff

>>Ravenclaw: "I Fucking love science" 2smart4u incels
Cope harder, brainlet. The "I fucking love science" normies are Gryffindor

Hufflebuff is the mouthbreather containment house
Slytherin is basically /pol/ (also why /pol/ constantly self inserts as them then gets mad at it making fun of them)

Hufflepuff is the underachiever house. If only they applied themselves.

Speaking of her shitty writing, open questions to all of you reading this: let's say I think Harry Potter isn't a well-written set of books, and you want to prove me wrong.
>If Harry is such a well-written character, what are his flaws? What's his arc?
>What about the villains? Do they have motivation beyond being power-hungry and evil for the sake of evil?
>What are some common themes throughout the 7 books?
>Are there any examples of subtext you can name?

>Slytherin is bullying you again

Attached: 1560460479418.jpg (1000x1283, 235K)

>Do they have motivation beyond being power-hungry?
That is a pretty common motivation irl, broface.

>fanfiction

Post more but with bustier models.
Do not disappoint me.

How many Ravenclaws started house elf rights organizations?

How many Gryffindors did?

S N A P

Hufflepuff is normie containment

hufflepuff is for fat bitches with low self esteem

Gryffindor* Hufflepuff is special ed

I'm in special ed and yeah, this.

how long till you get your wizard powers lads?
less than five years for me, can't fucking wait

>>If Harry is such a well-written character, what are his flaws? What's his arc?
He is constantly dependent on others like dumb, snape or hermione

>>What about the villains? Do they have motivation beyond being power-hungry and evil for the sake of evil?
yes. Self hatred over being mixed or something
>>What are some common themes throughout the 7 books?
Good vs evil, friendship love, doing what is right over what is easy
>>Are there any examples of subtext you can name?
The whole christian subtext

>Too beta to not command the hat which house to put you in

>The whole christian subtext
J K Rowling is famously atheistic.

What you gonna do? Beat up the selector hat?

What was his name again?

Attached: .jpg (320x320, 22K)

She is famously church going my atheist friend

it directly puts you in whatever house you ask for, it tried to put harry in slytherin because of his gay psi-bond to voldemort but he wanted gryffindor so he got put in there instead

source me, fren

The hat made an exception because of Harry's extraordinary status. Anything else you want me to explain?

Are you retarded? Look it up it's not obscure knowledge faggot.

eat my cream, dude
lazy shit

>the hat made an exception because of Harry's extraordinary status
It's made a point in pretty much every book that the school does not discriminate or give extra weight to specific students, IE anyone could have acquired Godric's sword or used the room of requirement (as many people unknowingly did). To think that the sorting hat would be biased towards Harry is completely illogical. It also begs the question of why would you want to permanently put some kid into the house they don't like for seven fucking years of their life? It's also worth noting that most people were suited to the house they wanted as it's never mentioned that anyone is in a house they didn't want.

Barty Crouch Jr

So what the fuck is the point of the sorting hat then?
inb4 it's a pointy hat.

Being dependent on others doesn't qualify as hamartia because it's an excusable flaw: there is no such expectation that Harry be completely independent, and the reader is sympathetic towards this "flaw." Contrast this with, say, Odysseus's pride. Not only is arrogance frowned upon by the audience, it is a fixable trait that he could do without.

As for the themes you listed, they are trite and superficial even for a "young adult" novel, requiring no self-reflection or further thought on the part of the reader.

Allusions to Christianity and the Bible are quite possibly the laziest references you can make.

It directs muggle-borns who don't know shit about the houses and people who can't decide, it's just a way to keep people from further dividing themselves into purebloods and niggerbloods like every dickhead wizard that ever lived tried to do

So, Harry is a mary sue?

Go to /sci/, we don't take kindly to "professor types" here on Yea Forums.

fucking diversity hires

>Contrast this with, say, Odysseus's pride.
Literally the theme of Harry Potter 4

This isn't a problem exclusive to Harry, what I'm getting at is that Rowling writes 1-dimensional characters. We could take all day going through every character. Is it a good book for young children just getting into reading? Yes, but too many adults who read and reread it as children act like it's more than the pulp it is.
prove it.

One dimensional characters like Snape?

it's just a kids book, dude

S N A P

Watch me describe his character in one word: oneitis.

>trying this hard yet performing this bad

Professor McSmartypants keeps posting.

hufflepuff is the only real house, the others are containment. slytherins are locked in a literal dungeon

Harry Potter ruined my life. I spent my entire youth waiting for the letter to Hogwarts.

I got in. It's not all that.

Where is
>We'll take the lot!
poster? I miss him

>not threatening to take a giant steaming dump in the Sorting Hat right there on stage if he doesn’t put you in the house you want

The Huff full puffs have the dankest weed(It's in the name) and the wildest parties.

>Gryffindor is leftypol and Tumblr
>Ravenclaw is Reddit and x
>Slytherin is pol

yeah cus weed parties are super wild

what if only the students end up in hufflepuff that dont protest the decision to be put into hufflepuff by the sorting hat

mind. blown.

God damn, nigs are ugly

She is a member of the Scottish church.
The entire last book is basically a modern jesus story. Harry is "the promised one", dies and is reborn and with his death, defeats evil. It pretty lazy desu. But all the books carry Christian themes and morals.

That's my fetish.

Only physically.

black can be anywhere

which ones of the hogwart's house that had loudest BRAAAP ?

>get put in to virgindor while you really wanted to be put in to orgypuff

>get put in gryffinpuff
>wanted to be in slytherclaw

It's really something how the first two movies have one or two nigs and browns tops, and then the ratio of them increases gradually from then on into the coming movies. I guess Dumbledore thought the place needed some good old fashioned british diversity

Also every girl in that picture is ugly as fuck, wow

Gryffindor has the loudest braps
Slytherin has the stinkiest braps
Hufflepuff has the most frequent braps
Ravenclaw probably is more discreet about their braps and does them in the privacy of the bathroom

Scatman Jr

the opposite is also true
>lavender brown is played by a nig in the first movies where she only acts as a background character
>as soon as she becomes relevant to the plot they recast her with a white actress
imagine if that happened today

Doctor Who

>Brits

fucking yuk. And these girls should be in their prime, they are probably around 17 years old

So do you get to hold hands with merula yet or not? I know fags are still playing.

I'LL TELL YA WHERE THE GOLD MINE IS, THOSE HARRY POTTA BOOKS

Attached: 29108322901.jpg (1637x1008, 391K)

I think user is being too literal. The hat takes your feelings/what you want into account but it doesn't literally depend on it to sort. Harry still has a lot of the traits of a Gryffindor, he could have been in either. Didn't Hermione say she wanted to get in Ravenclaw earlier on (at least in the book I think)? But she was put in Gryffindor anyways

Attached: 1deb3e78b3.jpg (500x207, 30K)

Isn't Slytherin full of spoiled rich kids from inbred pureblood families

I tried, and I almost fucking died from an over-dose of autism. Fuck that shit

reminder that if you want to make a character gay or trans or whatever, write it in the book. Even if it's just a footnote, or in an appendix.
