The thing truest to life was the hippy declaration of love ceremony, I swear to god I have seen that in real life and I lost my shit laughing
A great deal of the comedy comes from how children exaggerate the canon of the own lives and even something trite like summer camp seems deathly important

I don't remember if I laughed out loud at the movie or show, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Top tier comfy. Top tier cunny. And funny enough to get me to think "heh, that's funny" multiple times per episode.
