DDP and Booker T were huge draws in WCW, but WWF buried them for the first few years after the merger. Booker and DDP would go on to later success but having so much WCW talent get squandered after the merger was what made Sting decide not to go to the WWE.
He didn't think McMahon would respect his character and he was totally right since when he finally did sign with WWE he was buried by HHH at wrestlemania. That felt like Vince's final fuck you to WCW to me.

Germanfag here. I discovered WCW back in 1996 while fucking around with the motor of our satellite dish. I found TNT and they showed reruns of Monday Nitro every friday at 22:00. I watched it without knowing a single world of English lel.
The hypest moment for me was when Sting ripped his black&white nWo shirt and pinned Hollywood Hogan. I also remember the "Macho Man Randy Savage gets cucked by Eric Bischoff" storyline. It got really fucking bad later on when Goldberg appeared, though. Stopped watching it after that.
