Ever see a scene is a movie and felt violated by just how sadistic or dehumanizing it was, and how such a concept made it on the screen? Mine was in wolf creek, just imagine the main villain not killing you but rendering you permanently immobile through a knife into the spine. I think I would rather just die right away desu.

That scene fucked me up too - head on a stick
That sounds awesome
Oh God, I forgot this scene. Just watched "Under the Skin" a few months back.
Fuck you for making me remember....
I haven't seen the show, but most normies were deeply disturbed by that scene in The Walking Dead were the chink guy gets hit so hard his fucking eye pops out, right in front of all his friends too.
Did babie die?
Hostel scene where the chink lady loses her eyeball. I was young when I first saw it and it got engraved in my mind.
There’s a webm of some Indians watching the scene and reacting in horror
Except for a single based guy in the back who’s not even watching
yes
youtube.com
Found it.
If I remember correctly, it’s not graphic, just sad. Baby’s dad gets killed and then the main character just leaves and you hear that the kid died later on the radio.
I WANNA SAVE THE BABY DAMMIT
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The picnic scene in the House that Jack Built
what's the context behind this scene, did this guy pay to kill, why the hesitation? What's the point?
You forgot to mention the part where she tried to defend herself and the guy just sliced her fingers off. The sound she made was bloodcurdling.
She was kept in a facility made to torture tourists so rich people could watch. That guy manages to escape and finds her in another room with her eyeball popped out. He does her a favor by cutting it.
At least post the scene, OP
youtube.com
Does anyone remember this scene (I never watched the movie), but I remember stumbling across the scene. It was a girl trapped in some sex dungeon basement, where in the end she's locked in a barrel. Very unnerving from what I recall
In this Japanese movie called The Devils Path these yakuza loansharks/debt collectors make this old guy drink himself to death so they can collect his life insurance policy, it’s like 10 minutes of them just pouring liquor down his throat and shocking him while he begs for his life. Worst part is that family basically consents to it.
You can see part of it in the trailer starting at 1:08 youtu.be
It was also inspired by true events.
Dont forget that Ivan Milat actually did that to one of the victims, who was paralyzed with a stab to the back and had to watch her friend be used as target practice while she bled out.
Megan is Missing
only good parts are the end scenes
Sounds like the Junko Furuta case except less disturbing
The basement scene in The Road.
Wheeeeew the dinner scene is still the most disturbing thing in any horror movie I’ve ever seen. I can’t stand Grandpa sucking on her fingers.
Gunner Hansen said he couldn't get the fake knife to work and it was so fucking hot in the house he got sick of it and actually just cut her finger.
Being aware of being dissolved seems pretty awful
I only read the book and I don't want to see that shit. The scene where they find the skin and guts of a man they killed after his own group cannibalized him also sounded shitty.
Always wondered who would win, Blob or the Thing. Say they start at equal mass.
The scene in Requiem for a Dream when the girl girl anal dildo irl
That’s a pretty neat fact, I need to rewatch it it’s been awhile. Nothing else comes close unfortunately or atleast nothing I’ve seen.
unless the blob is something other than an organic mass, then the thing wins rather easily. like the very moment the thing touches the blob, the thing has won
The book is more fucked up. I mean, that's usually the case but here for a specific reason, where I thought the movie tip-toed around a lot of dark shit that was properly described by McCarthy. Mind you, the horrifying aspect was because everything was told very matter-of-factly, not because of all the gore involved.
It conveyed a real sense of dread, or something that approaches it far more effectively then Hillcoat's idea of formulaic scaryness, ie ''here we increase stringy violins music, shoot everything in darkness and shadow and let's call it a fucking day''. Overal I thought the movie's music was incredibly boring and sappy, which is a contrast to that same group's prior work on The Proposition and Assassination of Jesse James (different director tho)
Episode from "Carnivale" "choose a number" where dancer is raped then lynched by ghosts and ends up in the ghost town with her murderers to be raped for whole eternity...
this image still haunts me
Not necessarily traumatic, but it did leave an impression.
youtube.com
what the fuck is that webm from
Anything to do with drowning or being trapped alive does it for me. Knowing that you're going to die and slowly. Even worse is the idea that no one will ever find you. The one that probably disturbs me the most is in 2001 where Poole dies and, after Bowman lets him go, his body just floats off into an eternal void. Forever. At least until 3001!!!FACT!!!
RIOT
yoda grew up?
The thing can't handle fire, and the blob's acid is strong enough to melt bone. I think we have a fight on our hands. Interestingly their weaknesses are opposites, fire and ice
>Anything to do with drowning or being trapped alive does it for me.
Hard mode: listen to this in the dark with headphones. Listen all the way through. No skipping

>Always wondered who would win, Blob or the Thing. Say they start at equal mass.
>unless the blob is something other than an organic mass, then the thing wins rather easily. like the very moment the thing touches the blob, the thing has won
The Blob would win because its entire body is an acidic substance and The Thing wouldn't be able to duplicate it fast enough because it's cells would be dissolved!!!FACT!!!
Did you find Dunkirk scary?
Room 1408, the scene where his daughter dies in his arms, again, it wasn't scary, it was just petty and cruel, for some reason it just made me extremely angry.
Ah fuck me, this shit again
Watch whole video
youtube.com
Is that the chick from Superstore? She looks a lot more Asian in the webm than she does on the show.
yes, but the thing assimilates organic mass. if the blob is a living, organic lifeform then the blob loses by default
The scene at the end of the movie where the dude gets raped in his sleep while chained to a bed, and then his girlfriend walks in and gets mad at him for cheating.
Yeah, heard that a while ago. Didn't bother me because he was a moron who got what he deserved!!!FACT!!!
I have a grandmother with severe Alzheimer's and the scene in requiem for a dream always hits me in a weird place. Watching someone you used to love and respect scream like a mental patient and throw stuff all around the house and then forget what she did and who she is a minute later, there's something genuinely terrifying in that.
They say its genetic too, but I plan to kill myself if I ever develop it. I would never, EVER be a burden to my family the way she was to me and mine, I'd put a bullet in my fucking head first.
>Did you find Dunkirk scary?
I have no interest in Nolan's shit. But the scene in Saving Private Ryan where the soldier drowns at Omaha left an impression!!!!!!FACT!!!
Carbon based organic life forms. The Blob survived atmospheric entry. His biology is of a kind the thing can't absorb.
What if you forget to kill yourself?
Dunkirk is literally that for the entire runtime
>Carbon based organic life forms. The Blob survived atmospheric entry. His biology is of a kind the thing can't absorb.
Correct!!!FACT!!!
Its like a dyke in a post Apocalyptic world Shouting. "I prefer girls, respect my rights to be Gay!"
I saw Requiem for a Dream and when it was done got out of the theater as fast as I could. It felt devastating and I couldn't stop crying. Like you said, it's the loss of ones own self that is the worst part. Your body might still be alive but your soul is gone!!!FACT!!!
I FORGOT ABOUT THIS! Its been damn near 20 years. And the midget walked off after seeing it wailing like a baby!
>what if you forget to kill yourself
That's advanced stage Alzheimer's. There are so many warning signs
>getting lost while driving to a familiar place
>starting a thought and then completely forgetting it as you're saying the thought
>being confused and constantly weak and tired
>Losing substantial short and long term memory, to the point that your grown up child could be staring you in the face and you have no idea who is even talking to you
One thing though that I find pretty funny is that my grandmas racism was about the only thing that survived. Every black aide we hire she treats like garbage and most of them end up quitting that day.
What actually kills alzheimer patients anyway? The dementia etc is mental, but as long as there are caretakers shouldn't they be fine?
>What actually kills alzheimer patients
me
So eventually the brain deteriorates to the point where it can't send messages to the body anymore. You lose the ability to move around and at that point you're just bedridden. You can't feed yourself anymore, you can't move anymore, but that's not even the worst of it. The last stage for most of them is when the still alive brain stops sending signals to your lungs and throat and you not only lose the ability to swallow food, but you eventually lose the ability to breathe and you just asphyxiate to death.
Not a fun way to go.

Might sound stupid but deadpool torture scene was pretty fucked up
idk why they would go to such extreme lengths to show that shit in a movie full of ebin reddit humor, it just made me feel bad
I dont know a single female who doesn't see this commercial as reprehensible.
Willem Dafoe cumming blood in Antichrist was a bit too much for me.
Also that scene in Wrong Turn where she gets her head tugged off by a barbed wire noose
Carnivale rocked.
it's worrying how hilarious I find this
what film?
What movie
The Hills Have Eyes remake where the girl has basically kept tied to a bed for 9 months in filth while she has to give birth to that mutant's baby.
There was a scene in some movie where the world became blind, and all women had to go to the 'alpha' ward. It is still a scene that actually makes me feel weird, and I have seen alot of gore in my life.
Bastard out of Carolina I think
Same, I think the first 3 symptoms are also common in schizotypal disorders.
That still looks good for that time.
I love how she pauses to get punched in the face
spitroast baby and caged preggo women did it for me
You know, they tell you that having a lid changes you, but you don't notice it until you see shit like that. Two years ago that scene probably wouldn't have affected me much. Now it makes my heart hurt. I want to go home and hug my boy.
*kid
this spooked me as a kid, in fact this is probably not a kids movie at all
I have that with open water, like in the middle of the ocean. I know nothing will happen (except a shark, but that is stupid), but I get the creeps from it sometimes thinking about it.
That and driving on the freeway between a women and old people.
fuck ME i was looking for this specific scene about a month ago and couldn't find shit and even made a thread asking and no one had any fucking idea.
Still haunts me

Yeah, rape and pedophilia is still the worst. I even LOVE gore compared to even seeing someone kissing a small girl

same here. I was playing through the the game Homefront and I got to the part where a kids parents are executed. holy shit I could not stand it, the crying was way too accurate. had to stop playing for a week.
then it took me another month to get through some firefight level with a kid crying in the background. worse 5 bucks I've ever spent on a game.
Jesus, who the hell got away with making that?

not really traumatizing but this caught me off guard what they were gonna pull to try and top the shit in the first movie, I'm surprised this movie wasn't banned or something
This is incredibly stupid. Had no idea this was a thing.
It is. Can't fathom being a parent and allowing my child to be in a scene like that.
>taking a shit while somone is in the bath
wtf is wrong with yuropoors
this but unironically
first time I watched this my dad insisted on watching it with me, not because of a bonding experience but more because he thought I'd need parental guidance at the horrific fucked up shit that happens in the movie
The guy who cut her eyeball found her after he escapes his own torture. Her eye was already popped from being tortured herself so he had to cut it to help her.
They both make an escape afterward but sadly she saw herself and couldn't stand to go on living after seeing a reflection of her now fucked up face..too bad she was still kinda qt. Anyway, she ends up committing sudoku on the train tracks just as she and her rescuer wait to escape the city.
I recognised that artwork

It's like mad cow disease/creutzfeldt jakob. In fact, pretty much every case of creutzfeldt is diagnosed as alzheimer. It just happens for no reason, so you don't even need a relative with it to get it.
The last twenty minutes of Bone Tomahawk.
oh wait I just realized there's no reason why her arms should be in that position upside down and that is a fuck up on the movie makers part and lazy production and has ruined this whole franchise for me
I'm sure this child actor grew up to be a very well adjusted adult with few sexual hangups
didn't the guy actor kill himself or something because of the scene?
What is going on there?
ending line of "serbian film" destroyed me

Are you one of those weird people that can move your twist your arms back to front like Vin Diesel in Pitch Black?
there should at least be some tension, it's just that it's obvious they filmed the actress the right way up for a lot of those scenes and flipped it in post
>Malone was born on November 21, 1984, in Sparks, Nevada,[2] the daughter of Deborah Malone and Edward Berge.[3] Her father is of partly Norwegian descent; she also has Irish ancestry.[4] According to Malone, her mother became pregnant with her after a one-night stand with her father, who was married to another woman at the time.[5] Malone was raised by her mother and her mother's girlfriend.[6] "They were lovers," Malone has said. "I had two moms, and it was awesome."[5] She remained estranged from her father for much of her early life but reconciled with him in adulthood.[5]
>Malone grew up impoverished; her family relocated frequently and at times was homeless. "We were just so poor," Malone has said. "We'd hop out of apartments, lose jobs, find a cheaper place, get kicked out, live in cars, and live in hotels."[5] By the time she was nine years old, she had lived in 27 locations.[2] Despite the frequent moves, Malone said, "I don't think it was a tough childhood... it prepared me for this strange, gypsy lifestyle of an actor. It's a beautiful thing to give children diversity of where to live and how to live; it makes you believe that security is built within instead of four concrete walls that you call a home."[5]
Meh, she was fucked even before that I'd say.
Do people even get hard in order to do it like that?
Even worse is when you read about how none of the animal deaths in that film are simulated at all.
Just looked it up, seems Ron Eldard is still alive

You mean the one were it's shaded and you can see the general outline of it's teeth and it's beady eyes staring directly at you. I don't have it but I think I know which one it is. On the yopuc if dinosaurs why don't we have true scary dinokino yet? They always portray dinosaurs in media as just big scary animals but they're so primal and beyond anything we have in the modern era, except whales I guess. I feel like showing dinosaurs as esoteric and strange would be more effective than some shitty discount slasher villain like in Jurassic park
Haven't even seen the whole movie but I saw the scene in The Zodiac Killer where the couple gets stabbed at the park. Just the constant reinsertion of the knife seemed so torturing. And now I'm scared to go to parks lol
Also the black and white videos in Insidious stayed on my mind months after I saw the film. The one with the lawnmower in particular.
what the fuck is this movie

What movie is it? It reminds me of the one when Jessica Alba let the guy beat the shit outta her.

Good God. Did you see the after pictures of the woman who got mauled by that chimp?
it felt like any other thing I'd seen before up until he killed his mother, and then it just got worse and worse and when he stormed into a house and killed that man and his crippled wife it just made me feel horribly depressed

This scene gives me the blues...
When I was a kid I saw two James Bond films which had scenes in them that traumatized me back then.
One of them had a guy that was thrown into an intake pump and shredded to bits. The other one had a guy thrown into a decompression chamber and pressurized until his head splattered against a small round glass window.
for me its the abduction scene in fire in the sky. I was a super ufo geek as a kid and that scene put fear into me.
It’s a movie about wealthy people with sadistic desires paying an organization to abduct tourists in Slovakia. Take them to an abandoned facility for the sadistic rich business folks to torture and kill them. Fun fact, thanks to that movie the tourist industry of Slovakia plummeted severely and never recovered.
This scene in 28 weeks later got to me. I've never seen this kind of violence ever again in modern movies and that makes it even more special.

Cannibalism scene in The Road.
This?
God fucking damn it
Rubbish its doing great from it , daft mutt
Me and my friends did this ALOT when we were younger. Constantly mapping out cave systems on his property. Never once did it cross our minds (my mind at least) how dangerous it was. There were times we would go very deep, for hours at a time. No one knew we were down there. So many times and different ways we could have died and no one would even know. People would have just assumed run away I guess since only our little group even knew about the cave systems then. Pretty crazy to think about now days.
Anything that's very, very bleak with absolutely no hope nor escape. Not a just a singular predicament but more like you're fucked no matter what. Specifically, something going wrong in space or a very hopeless apocalyptic situations or your own body turns against you.
>High Life starring Robert Pattinson, life on earth is likely long gone or at least everyone he knew on earth is dead, life on the ship is awful and eventually he's just drifting in space very far away from earth with no one except his daughter. He encounters another ship similar to the one he's on but there's no one on board.
>The Road, even the best case scenario is the earth is grey and bleak, nearly lifeless and everyone is starving. Probably won't change ever or will take lifetimes to change.
I haven't seen a movie like this but anything that revolves around your body developing a disorder or sickness - something like your breathing just stops working or your heart won't function anymore. Being aware while your body solely becomes more and more dysfunctional and knowing it will slowly kill you and you cannot do anything about it and there's no cure.
You...you ever think something in those caves took one of your friends and has been living his life since?
You know... It is possible.

007's are time capsule movies and 80's action was violent as fuck, so License to Kill decided to also get a piece of that pie. Good shit.
I'm sorry... it's just what actually scares me. You OK user?
I'd tell you to fuck off back to Yea Forums but that game was definitely a barely interactive and boring movie so I guess you're in the right place.

errughhhghghhg
I remember those films. A View to a Kill and License to Kill. Christopher Walken ordering his security guards to murder that agent by shoving him in that intake pump. The other one was with that FBI agent from Die Hard pressurizing some dude who was innocent all along or something, pretty cold and disturbing.
That's it, based on a great book as well. The scene you're mentioning the "warriors" tribe demand all the women from the opposing tribe go spend the night in their ward to be raped, or else they'd kill them all. They comply and one of the women is beaten to death during the rape. I was 18 and I remember this was about the first time I felt genuinely disturbed by a rape scene, it didn't register that strongly when I was younger.
In the sequel he does it to a cop and burns him alive while he pleads "i want to see my kids" befores hes roasted. Far worse imo
I always feel like the faggots posting this shit as a reply seem to be the ones coping or seething the most themselves
Three guys one hammer, couldn't believe it.
Also that video where mexican cartels have cut of some guy's feet and hands and are cutting off his face with a hobby knife.
Also the video of the Assad regime pilot being burned alive.

Chained to a bed and raped?
The third act of Gruz 200 does that concept one better.
A scene from one of the Turistas movies where a girl is given a paralytic but not anaesthetic drug before her organs are removed. She is fully cognizant and feels everything, with only the slightest twitches in her eyes as she's carved apart. What really fucks with me is the clinical professionalism with which the doctor and nurses harvest her, it's like a regular Tuesday to them.

That's the reason I'm not going to watch this movie. Gore doesn't irks me at all but seeing animals getting killed, especially when it's so gratuitous, upsets me to no end.
You can see someone's spinal column casually laying on the ground to the right.
There was also piles of excrement all over the place.
No wife or kids but I have plenty of female relatives (some i actually give a shit about) and this scene scares the shit out of me.

the scene from The Thing where Windows comes back to see the bald bearded dude getting Thing'd in the chair
basically any other slow death or rape scene
Sweet little ass. 10/10, would rape and murder.
This scenario really got to me. Kind of made me want to get a gun.
Holy shit that is terrible.
Worst scene from The Thing for me was right after that, where you see the bald guy thing howl as its fucked up hand comes into view.
This. Fuck that shot.
This is an add?
yea tgat was fucked, then the other girl is forced into the barrel with her friends rotting corpse and then he buries her/the barrel alive.
As a kid this scene fucked me up hard. Sadly, watching it now, I'm desensitized to it. Still a pretty clever concept though.

I'm claustrophobic, this kills me so much to watch.
blob boi would win
marsellus wallace getting raped fucked me up
Craziest thing about this movie is that it's PG-13.
Legit one of my favorite moments in all of media.
Same, but fuck it nonetheless. Also fuck pic related. That's a proper jumpscare if I've ever seen one.
yea most movies with violence these days fail to portray it properly, from ppl being beat up and not having any swelling, people being shot in the head and not instantly dropping, bullet damage causing way too much instant explosions of blood instead of small holes that leak. It’s bullshit really, if portrayed correctly true gun violence would be far more powerful/shocking to the viewer.
>getting trapped in a place called Nutty Putty cave
how will he ever recover?
This is the scene that made me arm myself. Never would I be caught in a scenario where some psychopathic assholes try and harm my flesh and blood. This scene was so vile it almost made me despise Arron Taylor Johnson as an actor.
That just tells you the level of acting and commitment that went into the character. I praise him for it, but seriously fuck this scene.
yea that stabbing was shocking
No matter how shit the CG may be, fuck anything to do with sharks
Wasn't this a lifetime movie?
Hot Fuzz
Why is the camera and filming style so much like a Hallmark movie?
The throat slitting is the one that gets me. Genuinely makes me uncomfortable.
The trick, at least for me, is watching horror films in a movie theater, preferably late at night when there's less people. Way more impactful, especially if you sit towards the front. Another effective tactic for me is going into the attic with my laptop and watching a film there. Any confined/irregular room should do the trick actually.
But as desensitized as we are, there will always be things that are universally unnerving, like clip related. Just the right amount of logic + abstraction that sparks a reaction within you similar to an uncanny valley sight.

So much effort and work went into this one scene. Kudos to them.
>when a family steals from Sneed's Feed and Seed
Wtf why didn’t Martian manhunter just shape shift?
There is a whole generation that probably believes sudoku means suicide in Japanese.
Nice catch. A fucked up character himself.
It was, if I recall correctly, a movie-movie that couldn’t find a distributor because of the subject matter and ended up airing on Showtime
>ebaumsworld
I fucking hate you
