Why does everyone in my film school admire and try to be this loser? they all (within ameteaur realms) try to emulate this idiots aesthetic, dialogue, shots — you name it. Is he a reason millennials are so fucking pretentious? I’m the youngest in my class and I can’t stand being around these people.
I don’t have a big head, I just don’t like them.

don't let it get to you, brah. just nod and say, "yeah, he's cool" and move on.

more like your flick school lmao

i hate saying film school trust me

He has made good and bad movies but never ugly movies. I think you're supposed to be high when you watch them too.

These people are inferior to us. Hope you guys agree. I appreciate being part of this community of REAL cinophiles, who understand movies at a level that normies, women, nonwhites, and sexually active simply do not. Ignore these plebs in real life, we know that we're better. Thank God we constantly have threads where we remind ourselves of our superiority, where we're patted on the back by other like-minded white, virtuous Gods of intelligence.
Been having a real hard week, guys, hope you will all (You) me telling me that at least I am superior to women, normies, and nonwhites. Would really appreciate it

that’s what i do irl. i live in a midwestern state, in a city that is the most progressive and faux artsy area around. i simply just do not have anything in common with these people

i know you’re being sarcastic but i still agree

Praise Kek that you can come to Yea Forums to be validated then. Hope you agree that Hitler was right

>film school
^ there's your problem

>You're supposed to be in an altered state of mind before going in
>the movie isn't the mind altering drug

pathetic.

Thanks, man. Really do appreciate it. Been feeling lonely, alienated, and full of self-doubt lately. Created a 'woman hate' thread on /r9k/, a 'nigger hate' thread on /pol/, and this anti-normie thread on Yea Forums, and I have to say that I am already feeling better.
I have received so many pats on the from people in all these threads, confirming that I am indeed superior to women, nonwhites, liberals, sexually active people, vegans, communists, cardigan wearers, feminists, anime haters etc.
You guys really make it all worthwhile. If I didn't have you, I reckon I'd develop a delusional idealized self-imaged instead of the reasonable and redpilled insights into my own psyche and self-worth that I get here.

my grandpa did

watch under the silver lake, only Yea Forums can understand.

Praise Kek, brother. Keep up the good fight. We shall once again reign supreme over our women

He should go to films instead.

Why don't you just stay on reddit if you hate this community so much, instead you spend 10 years writing this long as wall of text like a bitch.

Well he's a master compared to all the mindless drivel hollywood produces.

His films are a lot more intelligent and kind than all the walmart KILL SEX KILL SEX films around

Have you tried asking them? What a dumb, worthless thread.

Why are you wasting yourself in film school? If you put down in your resume that you are a film school dropout it will still look better than putting down film school graduate.

i know 3;

Like him or not, he's an extreme example of an Auteur. His films all have an extremely distinctive style and that style controls every facet of them.
All his films are basically the same because they're from and of him, his ideas, his life, and really nothing else.

So he deserves respect from any aspiring filmmaker. Regardless of whether you like his style or not. Because the vast majority of directors do the same things, make films you couldn't tell are theirs, and are merely a piece in the puzzle of the production which could be changed for any number of other people.

He also deserves respect for making middle-budget indie films with somewhat wide appeal and A list casts. That's a rarity these days.

He does make the comfiest movies, him and the Coens.
