Got laid off today. Gonna go home and have a movie marathon. What should I watch?
Give me recommendations btw and I'll torrent it.

That sucks. I quit my job three weeks ago and already I'm getting lazy and complacent. Beware of the black hole! I'm getting drunk and shitposting in the middle of the week. Not a good sign. Stick to your rhythm. Also, dude, movies are for fags. Go to the gym.
Oh are you poor now ?
all garbage movies, use the time to go look for a new job instead
AFTER HOURS
Repo Man is top comfy. Harry Dean Stanton is cool as fuck in it too.
The company I work for has been in the news lately for cutting staff. I won't have trouble getting a new job. I do want to take some time off and relax though.
i forge not every one is a NEET lmoa. Imagine being a wagie
capeshitter detected. lay off the estrogen, pal.
Lol. Was gonna suggest Repo Man before looking at your pic.
Would also suggest in no particular order
> Groundhog Day
> Thomas Crown Affair
> Wild at Heart
> Royal Tenenbaums
> Ransom
That's what I would watch anyway. Also, good luck with your next job. Worry about that later, for now, watch movies.
I know the feeling. I need some time off too. Trouble is, I quit, so I don't get any money. I've got enough to keep me floating for half a year, but I don't even want to think about that. You got paid for being made redundant?
6 week severance. It's ok though I have enough in savings and no debt too. For now I just want to not think about work.
Alien if you haven't seen it
I'm watching the Friday the 13th movies for the first time
Just watch Bay of Blood. That's the film that inspired those slasher films and i think some of those stupid slashers even directly stole some kill scenes from it.
>> Thomas Crown Affair
which
looks like a good line up in the pic. You could watch the dollars trilogy. Falling down is another random movie that comes to mind. good luck user.
Just celebrate. And if you have family, call them or visit them. Maybe it's different for you but quiting my job was like losing a large part of my identity. Don't get me wrong, I felt relieved, but still. I have a sudden loss of purpose. If you want to watch a nice movie that's fitting for your situation, watch 'Up in The Air'. It's a good movie, not comparable with labourers (like me) who are without a job. But it raises some nice questions. And it has that one chick Yea Forums seems to swoon over.
Older films are kino for me atm but I have been watching a variety. I didn't lose my job but had a quiet weekend. Watched wall street and wolf of wall Street. Also Dante's peak, T2, The Thing, and Half Life which is worth just reading the summary to see the complex themes they deal with as it's santantango slow.
after hours and repo man were so terrible i wish i could forget them

Yes whatever you do, don't get lazy! Someone else needs you to make money for them!
It's not about that. A good job gives you a sense of self and a sense of worth. 'To do is to be'. You don't have to worry about how deep the rabbit hole goes.Life's not meant to question everything constantly.
Lol I fuck around my Interactive Brokers account and do a little web dev work and that's my job. I feel a great sense of self-worth.
What I meant by a good job was not 'fucking around'.
