there's plenty

Name them

Too many to count, really

Pic related it's better and it is Lynch's masterpiece.

So you didn't actually watch it? As expected

I did watch it, all of the flaws were shocking

I agree.
Along with FWWM and Twin Peaks S3

this except it isn’t and it’s actually lynch’s worst film

what is it about? I don't know what "mulholland" means so i have no idea

In the scene where Naomi Watts is at the airport, is the dialogue ADR'ed in? I can't tell but it seems like it's dubbed. I wonder if he did that on purpose.

it's fucking boring

The only flaw I can think of is that most readings of it are very shallow: people are only experiencing a fraction of the film.

Case in point -

Everything. It makes no sense. And the parts that DO make sense are completely empty of artistic merit or emotional touch. It's like the first project of a dumb stoner film student who thinks too highly of himself. Incredibly stupid. This movie made me understand that lynch is a hack. He's made some good stuff but he's overrated as fuck

It's shit

Why is Blue Velvet so much more comfy?

>completely empty of artistic merit or emotional touch

Did we watch the same movie?

everyone that says they like this is just being a tryhard 2deep4u redditor, prove me wrong

2dep4me

here: you're wrong and retarded

That song when he stalks the jewish guy (from alien 4) is cringe.

I like how Laura and Ronette are in Mullholland Drive

Yeah, you just thought that self-masturbatory gibberish about Hollywood and dreams is deep

Because we identify with frank

Nada. I get that you might think its superficial or hack-y, I get it, but Lynch is smarter than you think. And he's doing a lot more than people give him credit for. There are a bunch of great essays - like the one by Geoff Klock - which get at the heart of MD. Lynch has remade Hamlet in many respects
