I'm in my late 30's. I have seen children who should have become adults. They did not.
What I have noticed is that most people my age began looking at adulthood as simply a point in one's life when they get a job and can live on their own. They never realized that being adult was about reaching a level of emotional and cognizent maturity, while also developing a strength of character and moral standing.
Instead, they regurgitate what they are told by their respective ideological leaders, while pining for their comfy childhood through video games and crappy movies or tv shows.
The truth is, they were only happy as children.
