I wonder if someday it would be possible to use the retained neurological structure from one of these things to explore the person's memories
Thats the tree of life

human is just a word and self is an illusion
not really, you're you and i'm me, it's not rocket science buddy. No need to make it harder than it is, it's not a trick question.
think about thoughts
Nice epic reddit popsci meme. You would fucking die if your nervous system was removed as it's an inseparable part of the bodies god made for us. Sorry if that makes you think of scary things like morality and accountability.
>unironically believing in god
Interesting idea but I don’t think it’s possible because of the (very) complex ways memories are organized and stored within the brain. If memories were discretely stored similar to a computer file then it would be easy in theory if we had a method to read them, but to the best of my knowledge memories are groups of neurons scattered throughout different parts of the brain according to how they were “recorded.”
This means, practically, that it would be extremely difficult to match up the sights of a certain memory with the smells, sounds, and feelings of the same memory. Considering how many memories one brain holds, you can imagine what an undertaking it would be. I’m not a neurologist but I believe this is roughly true.
>The self is an illusion
One of the most bizarre soundbytes you constantly get from pseudo-intellectuals. The self doesn't even require optics, how can it be an illusion?
>GLUG GLUG GLUB GLUG GLUG
this is how you sound drinking onions
>memory of a baseball game
>but you smell eggs for breakfast
>and you hear a teacher talking in class

Memory’s are tough
He's got a lot of nerve.

Yeah whatever fag.
You want a movie where the people are trees or something?
underrated
Because you're a collection of unconscious responses, learned behaviours, and rationalisations of those things. Your personality is intrinsically linked with your environment which is people around you who are also influenced by you right back. The line between you and other people is imaginary
Cool Runnings
im... me?

Robocop 2
Technically Robocop 1 counts as well
Nope. It's also why we don't have and never will have A.I. that in anyway functions like a human brain. Only God can create minds.
