Retired CIA operative Mason Wood (Seagal) spends his days fishing and his nights at a struggling seaside bar owned by the daughter (Nyong'O) of a friend lost in action whom he swore to look after. When real estate mogul Bartholomew Bishop (Dafoe) becomes aggressive in his attempts to acquire the bar property for a planned resort which would disrupt the local ecosystem, Mason is forced to intervene. Olyphant plays the local sheriff and friend of Mason who's caught between his duty to maintain peace and the political strength behind Bishop.

I remember when Yea Forums would have entire threads for collectively coming up with insane ideas for movies and casting them. They were fun and gave me enjoyment when I was in an otherwise fairly dark place. I miss those days.

Olyphant can play the local sheriff as you specified. Nyongo ordered her zombies to attack a town and killed/turned the sheriff. Seagal came in to kill all the zombies. Dafoe crossed Seagal to retrieve the virus. Nyongo sucker punched Dafoe and they both died. Seagal walked.

Amber, tired of her husband Johnny's alleged abuse, recruits friends Eva and Helena to kidnap Johnny in order to scare him into admission and repentance. As their interrogation escalates to torture while Johnny maintains his innocence, Eva begins to doubt Amber's claims.

Brad Pitt is a methodical sociopath coerced into working as a hitman for John Travolta alongside his mentor Liam Neeson. A mistake puts FBI agent Arnold Schwarzenegger on Pitt's trail. Pitt, believing himself to be much more clever than he truly is, spins an elaborate conspiracy to get rid of both Travolta and Schwarzenegger using Neeson as a escapegoat, but things quickly spiral out of control with increasingly dark results.
