Perfect example of flash over substance.

that's a terrible translation, low effort like all things sneed

Is this suppsed to be an argument?

Shill post

d, a horribly written film

Films are a visual medium, visuals are literally the only thing that matters

If you want a story, read a book.

>visuals are literally the only thing that matters
ooooo pretty colors!!!!

this
if anyone cared about narrative in films Michael Bay wouldn't be successful

I believe TLJ will be the opposite of the prequels, when ten years later people will look back and wonder why they didn't like it

an audiovisual medium you dumb fuck, and you use the audio/visuals to tell a narrative

>-sed

d

>success = quality
yes user David Guetta is the best musician of all time

There's silent movies so no, audio doesn't play a role in filmmaking.

Michael Bay don't try to subvert expectations

Have you ever actually seen a silent film you dumb faggot? Is it literal just silence and visuals? Or is there an extremely over the top soundtrack over it to represent the emotions happening on screen?

are fanboys still seething over this kid's movie?

Who the fuck would watch a silent movie in this day and age?

convince me right now why the purple hair lady and the fat chink were well written characters

Just remember that I fuck the prom queen

All scenes those shots are from were awful.

The visuals have to be good though

>All scenes those shots are from were awful.

Holdo's sacrifice is arguably the most iconic moment in Star Wars history

>car
>turns out he was a space robot
Pretty subversive

Do you know what the word "iconic" means? Most people don't have a clue who even "Holdo" is if you ask them, let alone her "sacrifice"
2/10 bait made me reply

>LOOK I MADE SCREENSHOT NOW MOVIE IS GOOD

Dune will look great

Yes at it destroy any mean of combat or element of star wars fighting .Need to blow a death star? hyper drive it, shoot down enemy rebel base ? Hyper drive it.

this movie would be so much better if there werent so much fucking faggot ass instagram vignette bullshit on the corners of the screen at all fucking times holy shit who okayed that

@118454877
You aren't fooling anyone, troll.

Are those few basic shots meant to support your opinion

That's a big assertion

Michael Bay is actually creative with his visuals while Rian Johnson just plasters the screen with a single color and arthoes think it's "STUNNING"

I tried watching The Last Jedi on netflix, but it felt like a children's movie and i turned it off.

All the jokes, acting, everything felt like a Disney movie aimed at 10 year olds. At least the old Star Wars movies could be enjoyed by everyone.

Stop pretending that films are merely a "visual medium". If that were true, nobody would care about the other elements that make up a film, such as writing or sound. Fucking mongoloid, get off my board.
