I predict it will be total shit

A lot of female characters that aren't in the books, skinny DYEL male characters, little to no power armor or xenos because it would require money, sets comprised primarily of empty hallways

Are normies even going to understand this? 40k isn't exactly complicated but you still probably need to know some of the setting to fully understand eisenhorn.

Diversity diversity diversity

It will probably be shat up with generic capeshit political takes with "muh oppression" thrown in continuously by a cast of characters who arent in the books

You might if you're reading a book where you have to know what words mean and 40K has tons of unique words. But if you see what the words refer you can infer the meaning.

I dont think its going to be a show for normies user. But that depends on where its going to be broadcast, if its on netflix then the 40k franchise can shoot itself in the foot

Will it have the bit where he sticks his artificer bolter between the eldars legs and blows his genitals off just to test it

turns out dark eldar didnt enjoy it after all

Yes but because its a tv show for american audiences the xenos will just be seen as misunderstood and exotic cultures

Not this again. You can't make a movie where everyone's a bad guy.

>W40k with quips
no thanks.

its a series, not a movie :)

Idris Elba as the Emperor of mankind

>negroid eldar
>no space marines because no budget
>fighting will exclusively be against cultists, no orks in sight because budget
>diversity high command
>cybernetic implants will look like halloween gear
>lasguns will be star wars laser rifles
>god emperor will now just be emperor
>religious tones will either be mocked or toned down dramatically

Imperium of Man are based, eat shit heretic

>Nurgles will be fat hairy sweaty shirtless men with some crusty makeup around their mouths and spikey helmets.

Do you though?
All it needs at the beginning is the introduction 40k got. youtube.com/watch?v=cy4CJ4F-epA

Noone needs to learn about the Horus heresy at the beginning. If anything it is contraproductive to know about 30k before 40k. You start in 40k with everything in ancient history wrapped into religion, myth and telltale as it was intended.

>tyranids are just misunderstood
>orks are just misunderstood
normies are so retarded, they might actually think that

Isn't most of Eisenhorn stuff chaos?
I remember one story in which a single ork came through a rift from time to timde because a raised bridge caused some bullshit, but not more. On the other hand I haven't read all that much Eisenhorn.

idk, haven't read Eisenhorn yet.

depends.

on what?

there are like 3 trilogies at this point, spinoff novels and short stories
