I thought it was great except for that fag Donald Glover.

Better than Gravity and Interstellar that came out around the same time

>no human slave colonies controlled by The Cabal
>no underground alien mines
>no temples depicted or signs that humans once thrived on the planet
>no warp gate to earth

Fuck this movie

I wonder what those pooptatoes taste like

>scifi movie
>doesn't contain aliens
what a soi movie

I actually watched it today, while the concept was interesting, it misses out on a lot of the more scientific stuff from the book and the script had too many quips and was way too r*ddit for me. Would have been better if it just focused on Mark and his isolation on Mars instead of all that faggy shit back on Earth/NASA

>Donald Glover

He always comes across as a self-loving asshole with no charisma. Also, he was a white guy in the book. Just saying.

Matt Damon was the alien, literally.

Most vegetables are fed with manure/fertilizer, so probably not much different than regular potatoes.

Regedit, the movie

My dad read the book and he loved the movie, but he agreed that they rushed through a lot of key scenes, most of which were exactly what you said, the isolation of Mark and his work on making his home sustainable. Apparently the books is incredibly scientific (wasn't it written by an actual physicist?) so I can kinda see why they'd skip to the more plot-important parts instead of filming him do hundreds of mathematical calculations that only 0.01% of the audience would comprehend anyway.

Inoffensive Mediocrity The Movie
Ridley Scott is done for, the last truly great movie he did, BHD, was almost two decades ago
The Counsellor was kinda great of the first viewing but kinda meh on 2nd, maybe I was just too intoxicated the first time
Since he refuses to make Forever War he should just retire

fucking garbage, to the point it's irritatingly bad.

>Better than Gravity and Interstellar

I can see Gravity, but Interstellar had a completely different plot, the only similarity is that they're both set in space

Thought it was a sequel to interstellar

I AM GONNA SCIENCE THE SHIT OUT OF THIS

fell in love with Mackenzie Davis

Already forgot about it.

Worst than both you mean.

They skipped the Journey to the crater WTF

Also, the second most terrifying blunder when he shorted the pathfinder's circuits while prepping for the crater trip. He didnt have comms with NASA until he reached the MAV.

They skipped it completely WTF

Shit, boring, and forgettable.
