What movie has influenced your personal philosophy the most? For me it's Conan the Barbarian (1982).

>Left wing writer Owen Jones, in his book Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class cites the film at length as an example of media demonisation of proletarian youth via the "Chav" stereotype. He comments, "Here was a film arguing that the middle classes could no longer live alongside the quasi-bestial lower orders."[9]
No arguments as usual just, "here is what you're saying and it's obviously like wrong, HELLO??"
probably It's A Wonderful Life or Adaptation
>I haven't read the book but I'm sure he has no arguments
Based retarded bro
Fight Club
Layer Cake. Don't do deals with fuckheads, and always watch your dealings so you don't get shot by a random fuckhead in the street.
Jud Süss
I apologize in advance, OP. Just imagine a much bigger bath with a whole crowd of guys doing it.
>Owen Jones, in his book Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class
I think he was actually right although he didn't need to wring his hands so much over it. Chavs were ephemeral; I haven't heard anyone so much as use the word for years.
Not him, and I'm a pathetic alcoholic weakling so this doesn't even apply to me, but the point of the film is as follows and everyone should agree with and follow it. Conan's father introduces the riddle of steel. His answer is a strong weapon (which is later shattere). Thulsa Doom's answer is more or less a steel tongue (more accurately silver), bending others to do your will and manipulating the masses. What Conan discovers, after years of slavery and violence, but especially after the death of his first and only live, is that you must have a will of steel. Don't feel a thing but vengeance. And once you accomplish your goal, you will still be empty because you have not truly gained anything. That's why when he's sitting on the throne at the end the narrator says that is a story for another day. This story was finished as well as it could be and it still meant nothing, but we, and Conan, learned what it takes to complete a task and what it feels like to not truly care about said completion. Humans cannot be satisfied but we can achieve if we have the will. That's what Conan is about you retard brainlet fuck
That looks fucking great. I need to find this now.
It’s a shame how many people aren’t able to appreciate this film. It’s one of the few pieces of media that I’ve let influence me. LotR being another.
The Seventh Seal
The Truman Show.
This and Man of Steel. They both in their own ways illustrate that will and principle is the the greatest strength of Man.
Life of Pi
It showed me that escaping into fantasy is a valid way of dealing with how much the world sucks. I also checked if bananas float and it turns out they do.
Legend. It taught me to treat every moment of life with the sacredness that deserves.
1986 legend. Not the new Legend. The 1986 one with Tom Cruise.
Endgame (2019). It taught me to never give up and love my loved ones 3000.

Lol chavs don't work
kung fu panda
It's just a shitty boomer movie lmao.
looks like a gay porn intro
It also taught me even that even the most important women in your life will fuck you over for a diamond necklace and a pretty dress even if they have to suck Satan's cock to get rich.
Watched a lot of gay porn eh?

Absolutely one of the best soundtracks ever by based Poulidorous. Gets me pumped every time.
American History X and This is England
Made me stop being a racist loser
>mfw my neonazi brother, as well as the neonazi at school, kept hyping up Romper Stomper and loaning their copies out to people thinking it would influence their philosophies and make neonazis of them
None.
I am not a faggot and powdered primadonnas in front of cameras and their made up silly stories have fuck all to do with me.
Movies are not a serious intellectual medium to influence anyone.
Not a bad choice, but you should read the books. Robert E. Howard is legendary.
It's on Tubi
me and my ten thousand brothers three million uncles and ninety nine trillion cousins want to thank you for being a nice guy and a good neighbor
I still don't understand his plan in TIE 90.
Socialist millionaire Owen Jones, who spends his days on Twitter what brand of 17$ soj milk he will buy in his 99% white neighborhood, would not touch a working class person with a ten feet pole.
I didn't watch the tv show.
To outbreed the english.
>not watching the best part
Dude what the fuck. That's like only watching Raiders of the Lost Ark and skipping The Last Crusade.
The book more than the movie obviously, but it's the closest thing that counts.
Conan is pretty great though, and the original stories are better.
Eternity and a Day
