Breaking Bad only ever got better. GOT had been on decline for 4 seasons.

>Breaking Bad only ever got better
that's objectively wrong
the last season of Breaking Bad was a shitshow.
It all went downhill after Gus died

All in all, the last season of Breaking Bad was far, far better then the last season/seasons of GoT

You better tread lightly now, user.

watching paint dry was better than the GoT at its best

Incorrect.

Breaking Bad is a well made show for brainlets. Storywise, it was never good. Most of the acting was also piss poor. Visually, however, it did improve every season and now Vince is quite good at that. And the sequences got tighter. So from a technical standpoint it did improve. But that isn't what most of you morons mean. You just liked the explosions and the "le nerdy guy is a bad ass" escapism.

You must be one of them homosexuals I keep hearin about on the news

Imagine having taste this bad

honestly, Breaking Bad is a more deserving show. good for them

No episode is better than the s4 finale. Season 4 also had kinos like crawl space and salud but was littered with mediocre episodes, especially at the start. Season 5 was a thriller all the way through and had a satisfying ending, what more could you ask for?

The story was excellent. It only let itself down by squeezing too much post-Gus into not enough episodes and felt rushed.

Anyone else feel like Breaking Bad had too much filler? If they cut down what they had for the 5 seasons into 3 or less I think it would've been a much better show. At the end of the day it's a 6/10 show with some 9/10 moments, and cutting out some of the stuff in between those moments would've been advantageous

The main problem being that the neo-nazis were shitty undeveloped characters. Despite featuring in less episodes tuco was a much better character. Should have stayed with cartel affiliated baddies instead of veering into redneck. There just wasnt any history with them.

That’s why I skip all the family scenes. Made the show 10x better.

CHRIST CHRIST CHRIST

rofl what? the first ep of season 5 was your dictionary definition of filler.

>dude lets spend the entire ep constructing this ridiculous thing to destroy a computer
>oh at the end reveal that the feds already looked at the computer and all the files were encrypted anyway so it doesnt matter lol

>one Reddit show has higher ratings than a show that was Reddit until Reddit turned on it for not being feminist anymore
Exciting

This is true. Good show overall though

I didn't mind the pace at all, it made the pay off more deserved. I just feel it needed some time with Walt at the top, felt like no time passed at all between him building the Empire and then losing it all. Even scarface got an awesome montage....

I would fuck you up if you talk to me like that in person faggot

>Most of the acting was also piss poor
(You)r taste is beyond piss poor

this

>felt like no time passed at all between him building the Empire and then losing it all
i think the point was that Walter was already losing control long way before he is physically aware of it. his megalomania had a life of its own and the line between heisenberg and walt became virtually indistinguishable. the real nail in the coffin for walt was hank discovering the book in S5E08. we knew that everything was already over but it was just waiting for it to play out

Syler... THERE'S ROT

way to defend the season that has fucking fly in it

what made breaking bad great was the atmosphere. the scenes by themselves aren't particularly good but the world feels alive and lived in

not really
GoT was far more mainstream and far more financially successful which is more important than .1 rating

He can't stop making kino

cope

This. Breaking bad is overrated as shit

Sopranos is better than Breaking Bad

Based

the ultimate pleb filter

meanwhile better call just

Attached: 11.png (658x726, 281K)

better call saul is everything it was supposed to be.

What filler?

First time I watched Breaking Bad, I thought it was the best thing ever
Second viewing not so great but still good. Jessie acting like a wigger kind of starts to grind on you, Walts wife is beyond annoying and acid doesn't eat through bath tubs and floors like that.

Top tier kino for me is:
Rome
Sopranos
Deadwood

>Agreeing with bait and thinking he's smart for doing so
YIKES

True 100 percent the last season was a downgrade from the previous ones.
This is mainly due to a drop of threat progression; Gus’ death should have left a huge power vacuum that ripple through the south. Remember when for some reason Gus was untouchable due to his connections in South America?
Walter should have had to actually run a huge a crime syndicate to protect his family from cartels, competitors, former Gus employees and whoever supported Gus from Chili
But for some reason this struggle was extremely simplified in season 5, and some meme nazis are the main villains.
Walt while techically does head a syndicate neither seems to be the main boss like Gus was nor has the same scale
I wish they had made Walt go full cartel leader ordering hits and rulling his empire while in hiding and basically holding his family hostage “to protect them”

>No episode is better than the s4 finale
you mean where gus straightened his tie with half his face off after walking out of a room where a bomb went off?

Pretty obvious from that fly episode

Fucking this. As shit as got was, Breaking Bad was worse because it got your hopes up by being good up until the very end. Got went to shit way earlier, so unless you were a total normie faggot, your expectations were tempered by shit like Dorne.

t. jew & jewer

Watch Ozymandius to understand why. As cool as would be this show didn't need fan service.

fair enough. please share with us tv show with better storytelling techniques, better filmmaking, better symbolisms which succeeded conveying exactly what it wanted to say

>Got went to shit way earlier, so unless you were a total normie faggot, your expectations were tempered by shit like Dorne.
I expected absolutely nothing and was still disappointed by the last season.

The Fly episode, most of the melodramatic family stuff, the entire season where Walt tells Jessie not to contact him and they get nothing done, this episode . There's a lot of wild goose chases where they do a lot of stuff but nothing consequential to the plot actually happens

no one else hated how much of an arrogant faggot walt became? they annoyed me so much, he could have just been getting rich easy life but instead was a massive cunt

sopranos is both better and also peak comfy show

Attached: sopstabasco-main.jpg (867x756, 113K)

>became
He was always an arrogant faggot.

That's the point of the show. To get on top he had to change his personality and behavior. But when he was at top he was completely changed by this.

It's the same notion as deathnote. A genuinely good intelligent guy trying to change something but instead only changing himself in the process into becoming the thing he hated the most.

>rich easy life
He didn't do it for the money

Hello R*ddit

>he thought Fly was filler

How was it not?

after watching Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad is the most engaging show in the universe

You're goddamn right!

Based.

You're wrong, BB was great all the way to the last episode. I'm not going to say it's the finest TV ever - I think The Sopranos and The Wire would contend for that crown - but it was certainly some of the most engrossing TV ever, I think. And the finale of BB was really good.

Comparatively, I hear that GOT was shit and despised in the final season, as well as the finale, although I've never watched that show myself.

Lemme guess, you prefer the adventures of retarded wops

It's dogshit on a rewatch, nothing but cliffhangers. It makes the Sopranos look like a human achievement on par with the Hagia Sophia by comparison.

BB is way better than the sopranos. Never seen the wire

>9.4
Fuck's sake how. It's been shit for 4 seasons, I mean the music and costumes and actors are good but it's like Hollywood shit

I’m in the middle of rewatching it now and either you are the most plebian watcher of all time or have some motive for lying on the internet.

BB was already declining in season 4

lol no, final season of breaking bad was great

>le two face
>le magnet heist

literally embarrassing

dropped the show right there and then

based breaking bad was all in all a drugged up Seven Heaven, jesus chirst americans are so childish

i unironically hate all of you

i hate all of your opinions

i think you are all wrong

i think the way you discuss your opinions is disgusting and you should be ashamed to call yourselves humans

BB I feel could have used 1 more season to build up the Nazi's as the final antagonistic force, and to allow walt to develop more naturally into the boss role he assumes in that season following Gus's demise. I guess a comrpomise had to made, and that's why the season was longer. Hanks character arc kind of demanded that he discover Walt's true nature. But then, maybe Hank dying could have been the final scene of a hypothetical season 5 or something.

Either way, I feel it would have been neater to have it as the first two seasons building up a presence in the local drug scene, the third and fourth working for Gus and the growing pressure of being easily replaceable. And then season 5 and 6 to build up the characters of Todd, Lydia and such, and show Walts ascension to the Kingpin status. And then show the eventual fall.

problem with every nazi character, besides from some really good kinos, is essentially the lack of connection with the real world. muh nazi will always be seen as a shitfest of fag tattos and prison raping. and don't forget the fucking illinois nazi...

The whole point of the Nazi's is their lack of characterization, although they could've done more to sell their power grab

Nah I think I did senpai

The last season was pretty bad. Jesse's acting was hilariously bad too.

>Walts wife is beyond annoying
It took you two times watching that to come to this conclusion? I havent made it past season 3 because of how shit of a person she is.

Remember those little personality tests you faggots keep posting with the little INJT AJSK bullshit? They list her as a protagonist, "a fighter for justice" while literally depicting her character holding walts money and their kid while running off..

Based. Game of Thrones is trash.

FILTERED

can I ask you something? What's your impression of GoT?

Okay, this is epic

breaking bad is forgettable trash i can only remember gus dying everything else is a blur. the dullest series
