I can't even get through around 40 or 50 minutes. It's incredibly boring and over indulgent. The murder scenes are almost comical they're so bad. Brando makes me wanna puke, he's clearly drunk and on tons of drugs, it's just sad seeing someone who was once so great degrade himself like that.

I like other Coppola movies, like Rumble Fish and Outsiders. Apocalypse Now is ok, but has many of the same problems as the Godfather.

I like many other Brando movies, especially On the Waterfront.

But the Godfather is fucking terrible.

I tried to watch it, I really did, but with movies like Goodfellas and Casino providing better pacing and more depth I just can't get into it.
