Hey, Yea Forums. Recently began watching Mindhunters and I really liked how mellow the pace is without needless drama or action.

Could you recommend more of downbeat stuff like The Wire instead of gimmicky stuff like True Detective or CSI?

Homicide: Life on the Street, especially the first few seasons. It's based on Simon's book like the Wire.

Mindhunters is one of the most realistic detective series there is.

you'd be astonished how good I am at not opening my door. They say that I'm the best person in the country at keeping doors closed. one time a person knocked on my door for fifteen minutes and I didn't even open it.

almost all cops are what you would call 'dirty', corruption is part of the job and if anyone isn't corrupt when they join, they will be within a year.

as for do cops arrest people just because they are hispanic or chinese, some do, but they need to fill out the paperwork for it which often makes it not worth the bother. you will instead see minor on the spot power-plays, but a lot of cops do that with everyone.

I don't get it, If you didn't murder someone why would you confess to it? Cops can "entrap" me or pretend to be my friend or anything but I wouldn't admit to something I didn't do that would be ridiculous.

Even if you did do it why would you admit to it? If you're not a moron there'd be no evidence anyway. When I watch these true crime programmes it feels like whenever its not a nigger blasting another nigger, it's someone who they don't have enough evidence against but they end up breaking down in an interrogation or someone they told does or someone who helped them out squeals. It makes sense I guess when you think that most non nignog murders are done in a rage against a spouse or someone you'd be the first suspect for if they ever got murdered, or its just low IQ pond life silting some old biddies throat for a quick buck to snort up their nose. The smart killers get away with it and only get caught when they kill 10+ people and slip ups are bound to occur eventually.

The Shield is kino as fuck. Similar vibe to The Wire but slightly more dramatic storylines and basically the whole thing is the police unit are totally corrupt gangster with a badge type badasses, who ruthlessly keep the streets of LA safe (ish)
