No / No / Debatable / Maybe. Shape of Water was absolute garbage so hard to blame him for his performance, I think he did what he could with the shit script he was given, so hard to outright say "someone can do it better" because there's no "better" to be achieved. I think he did well in Nocturnal Animals, but mostly because he has the face of a psychopath, I think his performance per se was stellar.
