I felt it was too try-hard. Anyone that says its a pleb filter is a pleb.

How so? I think it dragged on too long and the grand reveal was underwhelming. Still did genuinely laugh at some of the moments.

I got severely turned off by the early sex & exposition scene, which reminded me of Game of Thrones. Then it didn't redeem itself quickly enough for me to keep watching.

Avant-garde.

pleb

i thought it was dope. unique pacing and interesting use of detail

Hipster garbage just like it follows

it was horrible, cringey bullshit. wish didn't wasted my time on it

The songwriter scene is really good, and Andrew Garfield is excellent. Overall, though, it felt hollow and pointless (and even if that's the point it doesn't help much.

>status: filtered

Agreed that was the best scene and funny. Kind of made me think about the things I found deep and profound.

I liked it, little bit pretentious, but otherwise enjoyable. Reminded me of my days in art school ,for some reason.

> the same faggots from yesterdays thread
Explain why it was a good movie, you cant but i will wait.

>try-hard
precisely. i've said it before: it seems like it was written by an edgy, clueless 12 year old, imagining how cool are adults' lives
cringe is out the charts

we have nothing to discuss pleb

I liked it too. Its sure to piss off the average fa/tv/irgin for sure

I found it to be rather shallow and pedantic

I thought it was entertaining 80 percent of the time and some of the humor worked for me. Girls were pretty too.

nice review, ya fucking pleb

No one's going to be able to explain to you why this movie didn't work for you. It has like a 50% like to dislike ratio. There's no point in listing positives for you to refute.

In my opinion, it comes down to open-mindedness. When 99% of movies follow certain rules, then one comes along and breaks a few, it's going to divide its audience.
