Brian Cox, easily the best Hannibal Lector

Manhunter is spectacular, Noonan kills it as Dollarhyde. But as far as Petersen goes, this is my favorite.

Any recs along the lines of Manhunter and To Live and Die in LA? That gritty 80s atmosphere.

Mannkino

Thief

I found under fire and Salvador to be quiet gritty 80s movies. They are similar in theme but have great cast and concept

Oliver Stone is shit

the same cinematographer as TLADIL did Repo Man previously. Robbie Mueller, one of the best

>dude I want realistic gun handling
>press checks and ammo details and everything
>TACTICAL WINDOW JUMP

This movie was terribly made.

Aside from some really jarring editing issues I thought it was excellent.

Gotta love Pacino's reactions to some of the shit. Friedkin is beyond based

Thief (1981) is pure Mannkino

elaborate

Miami Vice. Made by the same dude. Heat also counts, even though it's mid-1990s there's nothing in the film that dates it, it could easily be anywhere from 1979-1999.

Nah. He overacted.

It felt very amateurish, poorly edited, the acting was terrible. I've forgotten most of this movie except for everyone who watched it with me agreeing that it was generally a bad movie.
