Maeves storyline and her character was fucking terrible, everything else was forgettable. The Man in Black scenes were probably the only good parts

It's another theme park where you can play WW2. She either snuck into that park and blended into the narrative or was repurposed, I honestly can't remember what happens to her at the end of season 2 off the top of my head.

The WW2 scenario makes actually not much sense for a park, because it encourages very limited, railroaded scenarios, not an open world like the wild west or edo japan. Even bringing back the Raj would have been nice.

Can anyone give me a moderately sized rundown on season 2? Shit was so boring i peaced out around episode 5 in the vain hope that i'd watch it when the whole thing came out. Needless to say i didn't return. I remember Bernard having time-skips, more based Jimmy Simpson (the whole vignette with his father-in-law was memorable and well done), the father/daughter from Wolverine and Dolores turning in her comrades or something. Did they wrap it up well? Did Hopkins come back or is he dead for good?

it doesn't make much sense. The robots are sentient (but really aren't). Fords plan was to free the robots(what?) and to let their code run free in some virtual space (who pays for upkeep of that?). All in all it's just fucking stupid.

they only meet in the finale and they have no real talk or anything of importance happening between the two, William just tries to kill Dolores and fails miserably, they completely threw away all the weight their storyline had for "le ebin twists" in the finale.

There was no game for William. Ford lied and the directors cucked us all.

I did. I wish I could tell you what it was about. Forgettable and boring, so much that I probably lost some of my capacity to memorise things due to brain damage.

The forge was a program that could predict human behavior based on what guests did in the park, and the door allowed the hosts to go to a virtual world away from the humans. Bernard kills Dolores after she says she says she wants to wipe out humanity but then uploads her brain into a host and replaces Tessa Thompson. She then escapes to the real world but rebuilds Bernard who she killed earlier because reasons.
William tries to destroy the forge because he doesn't want his dirty secrets getting out and he hates the idea that a machine could tell him exactly what he is and that he can't change. He gets shot a lot, has a mental breakdown, accidentally kills his daughter and gets his hand blown off.
Maeve is completely irrelevant.

Only watched to see how Williams and Fords arcs resolved, needless to say I was fucked over by the stupid post credit scene, now I have to keep watching just because I'm too invested in Williams character

yeah it was really disappointing, they could've built something cool with the two in the finale, since both their storylines had very similar paths but they completely wasted it and turned William into an irredameable monster while Dolores is just robot Hitler that wants to kill humans.

Spoiler: they're all robots. It's going to turn out that after WWIII the last dying vestiges of humans created robots to help and replace those lost. The robots just forgot it over time, since they were so human like.

They triage the robots to see which ones can be re-used, she's put into that pile. A Delos supervisor then turns and snaps at the techs off-screen to do their job and get on with fixing up the robots.
The scene cuts to the people she's shouting at and it's the two cuck techs that Maeve dragged around all S2 that helped her upgrade herself etc in S1.

So I guess the implication is that those two guys will try and get her back to self-aware or the approximation of it she had.

Dolores gets sick of him being a nice guy beta orbiter so she fucks him, and then after she's had the experience of finally shagging her designed soul-mate, she gets one of the ipad things and reprograms him into the Terminator.
She does it against his will, he wakes up after they fuck and she has him restrained while she tells him that Bad Girls like Bad Guys and he's conscious as she mindrapes him into her Chad Slave.
After a while and some other shit, he gains self-awareness or something close to it and his real self kinda comes back or over-rides her programming and some shit, and he can't deal with the real events and that Delores is a genocidal fuckhead, so he blows his brains out right in front of her.

I peaced out of season 2 after the second episode then I watched a compilation of William clips online since he had the only interesting character arc. I didn’t like what I saw so needless to say I’m done. I’ll always remember the first season’s greatness (except maive) before Nolan’s wife destroyed the show with feminist robots.
