why do movie characters never share a first name unless it relates to the plot?
Why do movie characters never share a first name unless it relates to the plot?
because that would be fucking stupid
it would be unnecessarily jarring
because the knuckle dragging mouth breathers that comprise a modern audience would be confused by it
but it's a very common thing in real life?
Do Americans really call everyone by their last name?
Depends on whether you have a good last name.
If you want 100% realism go outside
Why add needless confusion (even if its only minor) when there's no reason for it?
this
Why are you so mad? sit down kid
>not wanting ultra realism in your movies
i for one want characters messing up speech randomly, farting, sneezing, wearing socks indoors not shoes
>main character trips down some stairs and dies, ending the movie abruptly
>socks indoors not shoes
fucking degenerate
MARTHA
Also popping and peeing
American please
fuck you I'm no fucking american
What about popping and locking?
It always pissed me off that there were 2 Tonys in The Sopranos.
Because nobody wants to hear
>"Which one!?!?"
being parroted off 100 times in a single movie like back in grade school and the teacher asks Michael a question and there's fucking 5 of them in the class and EVERY FUCKING GIRL thinks their SOOOOO smart for shouting it EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.
calm down michael
it would make the plot unnecesarely convoluted
and god knows americans already love retarded overly convoluted plots as it is
The characters would naturally give the same-named folks nicknames, or use their last initials, or simply call them by their last name.
All of my friends that are referred to by their last names I call by their first names.
