The episode when Malcolm drives the rest of the class crazy is great

Did they ever give a reason why he hated Malcolm?

What's everyone's favourite episode?

I always thought it was because he saw himself in Malcolm

He hated that Malcolm was smarter than him and kept getting the better of him. Like in the episode when Malcolm overtakes his GPA record so he torments Reese to get at Malcolm.

>it's a Hal and Young Dewey episode

Harkabe was a grown up version of Malcolm; he grew up thinking he was "a genius" and "special" but reality kicked in when he became an adult. He was never taught how to interact with normal people, quickly found out that he was at best above average, intelligence-wise, and who failed at every job he held after college and had been divorced by his wife, who was a gold digging trophy wife who married Herkabe thinking he was going places, but abandoned him when he lost all of the couple's savings when Herkabe thought he was a stock market genius and lost the pair's money in the early 00s recession.

He hated and despised Malcolm because deep down, he sees himself in Malcolm and resents Malcolm's potential and youth and wants to crush it to make himself feel better about being a failure.

Gotta be the golf cart into the swimming pool.

What a load of shit

You're welcome to give a better reason

the bowling episode
>"You want a strike? I'll give you a strike!"

I wish I'd have a dad like Hal.

Hal > Francis > Malcolm > Lois > Reese > Dewey

The one where malcolm and reese sneak out to go to a party and put the ballons in their beds and while hank is giving an emotional speech about how he loves them they popand he thinks that he just crushed their heads.
The one where they camp out on the billboard is pretty good to.

>Forgets jamie

>Malcolm didn't fug her

Aren't they both just tiny adults. I remember one of the Klitschko brothers being married to her and despite her looking like she was 16, she was like 30 or so.

That's not Hayden dude

Grandma related ones are my favorite.

>It's a francis at the academy episode.

Oooh, nevermind then. I was just looking at the thumbnail.

>the episode were all of Hals black friends scare her off
How did they get away with it?

Pre 2007 Yea Forums. After that everything went downhill.

The outrage people weren't old enough yet

The bowling episode that is two "what if" stories at the same time.

Hal building a killer robot is the true Kino

Francis was great early seasons and went to shit later on

Prime Francis is the true peak though

Whats truly amazing is that she is only in 11 episodes out 151.

The old country one with the dance is the best

Hal > Francis > Malcolm > Dewey > Resse >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Lois

George was also in Friends. What a sad life

Francis needed more episodes interacting with his family outside of Lois, especially Hal. It is a shame in the last two seasons they basically wrote him out of the show.

>clearly developed
>"pedo"

Francis has a Kino Halloween episode with the boys

You mean Francis

What you finna trying to say

How did they manage to make such a simple premise so Kino?

Its really the only show I can think of that portrays that social class well.

The house was always messy, furniture and clothes were not bright and shiny. The kids were actively getting in trouble and the parents were flawed.

It wasn't about QUIRKY MODERN CHARACTERS HAVING A QUIRKY MODERN LIFE. Everybody in the famiIy was broken in their own way and they stiII made it work. They weren't rich or sociaIites and they aII were unique peopIe with unique interests except for MaIcoIm who was just the audience stand-in.

I think he was really only there because of child labor laws.

The show never tried to be outlandish or quirky. The head writer was a down to earth guy that just wanted to show what a real, middle class family looks like. He also was adamant to find the perfect cast with great chemistry.

They also ended the show at the most Kino time. Truly great taste

It's more simple than wha you think. Herkabe hated Malcolm because Malcolm was better than him and he knew it. In his first appearance he tries to control the class under the idea of "helping the kids reach their potential", but it was just an excuse to control them. Malcolm is able to see through this and after being betrayed by his classmates, he outsmarts Herkabe and his class.

After that, Herkabe could not accept defeat and tried to get back at Malcolm, but Malcolm always finds a way to humillate him. The fact Malcolm was going to surpass his GPA shows how far he goes to protect what little he still has.

In another words, it's just someone that thought he was smarter than the rest, until he discovered someone better than him.

What about that kid who was 10x smarter than Malcolm though

Malcolm was also surprised and jealous but eventually he swallows his pride and accepts his help. He even mentions to the kid that he believes Herkabe said to the kid that he should help Malcolm just to humillate him but the kid replies he thought it was the other way around.

At the end of the episode you can see how Malcolm and the others say goodbye to the kid and they seem to be friends. Unlike Herkabe and Malcolm.

True. Plus Malcolm is the president in the end

The one when Malcolm says the 'n' word and Hal makes him say every bad word ever.
