a bloo bloo

>every movie ever
>Russian character is an assasin/KGB agent/druggie/mob boss.

I felt like this watching Creed II. Swedes speaking Russian sounds gay as fuck

Same thing with any foreign characters I'm pretty sure

What are some movies where Russians are portrayed as the fun-loving, rapscallious scamps that they typically are in reality?

>red square with kremlin on the screen
>"Moscow, Russia"
seriously?

>big ben
>London calling to the underground

>You- you can't do this!
>Watch me!

I heard Eastern Promises had perfect Russian, can you confirm?

>a person saves someone who is mad at him
>"that doesn't change anything"
>"I know"

No aragorn spoke it really badly

>russians talking to each other
>speaking English with heavy fake accent

I am surprised you guys have television, computer and internet access.

Darn, I heard there was supposed to be great attention to detail to the Russian accents.

>russian character
>actor is Swedish or Danish

What does Hollywood mean by this?

>foreign characters in a show speaking in their language
>they're making fun of how shit the show is

that's why I never got into John Wick, it was so immersion breaking. like how hard is it to find actual Russian speaking actors?

I don't know why the keep forcing the "I druuuink vodka, I'm from Mother Russia!" heavy accent. It's not even heavy to begin with.

>Actor is Peter Stormare
He looks vaguely Russian. But his accent was terrible in American Gods.

>someone trained as a spy in the cold war and who has been in diplomatic circles ever since it ended has a less heavy accent than others
whaaaaaaaaa? how could this possibly be??????

>as a spy in the cold war and who has been in diplomatic circles
He was a pencil pusher in East Germany and behaves awkwardly even in staged interviews. Don't talk out of your ass. Also, he had spoken only German, he was learning English only during his first or second presidency. It's got nothing to do with his career either, just good teachers that would naturally be available to the president.
