You're in a writers room and I'm sure you're trying to juggle a few things. Breaking up the tension of a pretty stressful part in the episode, establish a character that up until now has only been hinted at, provide a resolution to a problem all while remaining entertaining and engaging to the audience. I know that can't be easy. I know a lot of ideas are tossed around. But at no point do any of the writers say that having a girl that has the answer to the problem hold it hostage so she can sing the full theme song to their favorite movie after she has already professed to believing how important the information she has is to the fate of the world and possibly her boyfriends life seems just a little CUNTISH? Just a teensy weensy bit total bitch. That didn't occur to anyone? Yo introduce a character to come in and save the day and within a couple minutes of her being on screen you make people hate her...bold move, I guess.

It was a pretty grating scene honestly, and went on for way too long. Might have felt less jarring in an earlier episode when they’re not literally building up to the final climax, but even then I think it’s just a bit of a cringeworthy scene. Generally I think the humour in this series is of a really low standard.
