designated shitting streets

>doesn't explain why the beatles are gone
>doesn't explain why oasis is gone
>doesn't explain why cigarettes are gone
>doesn't explain why coca cola is gone
>woman friendzones the guy all his life, confesses her feelings once he's famous, then gets angry with him for not realising she loves him, then expects him to drop his career to be with her, then just gets with him in the end and her boyfriend is all "yeah go on you two, never mind my feelings".
This film was shit and I'm surprised it was written by someone as good as Richard Curtis.
Are you serious? I can't even imagine how shit this film would be of they actually tried to explain the blackout and timeline shift.
Don't watch about time ,you'll really hate that .
Just want comfy Hugh grant rom coms back lads. Why can't things go back to the way they were?
The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Rock critics are still blinded by commercial success. The Beatles sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved.
They just ripped off this French movie.
I couldn't have imagined it working if you told me in advance, but I teared up a little when he met John Lennon
The plot you just outlined is pure Richard Curtis
he is just bitter that the mainstream embraced his autistic little hobby
He was wooden as fuck but his characterisation was pretty funny
Wrong, he friendzones her.

No, it tells you how utterly worthless and pathetic rock journalists, critics and writers are
Sing it with me now!
In the town
Where I was born
Lived a man
Who pooped and peed
And he knew
Just where to go
To the Designated Shitting Street
We all shit on the designated street
