No, but there is a loneliness to be felt by women, just a different kind. Where the loneliness men can feel is completely encompassing, having just no contact with anyone. The loneliness a woman feels is where she was once surrounded by constant attention, she fades away into complete obscurity once she hits the wall. She will vie for attention from other older women but she knows it's no substitute for what she once felt. The loneliness comes from loss of attention and acquaintanceship, not never having it in the first place. It can be as dark of a feeling, having known a great high and seeing it fade away from you as you see other younger women at life's most giving time. Knowing you can do literally nothing to get it back.

I don't think men and women should vie over who struggles more with issues, like Loneliness.

Both genders can have it brought on by stuff that happens to them/choices they make.

For example, if a man doesn't do anything with his life, he won't have the opportunity to form relationships or to make himself "worthwhile" to someone else, resulting in loneliness.

If a career woman focuses too much on her work, and doesn't form relationships, or perhaps was too intimidating for men to approach her, this also results in loneliness.

(I don't think those 2 things will ever change, even if jobs were to "disappear". Some other form of hierarchical judgement would be used)

If a child, of any gender is moved around a lot, perhaps changing schools frequently as they grow up, they may struggle to form long term networks of people they know, or they may even struggle with the ability to actually form any sort of relationship.

Some people are just not good at forming relationships, but still "want" company.

People, in relationships, can also feel quite lonely. Perhaps they regret their decision and are not able to fix the issue that is causing that regret, but can't leave the relationship for some reason (maybe they have kids, and want to maintain a stable household).

Purely sexual/physical relationships also may result in loneliness. Men can experience this by not being fulfilled by paying for sex. I'm unsure of the mechanism through which this would impact women, but it might be something like this user mentioned: where after a certain age, that sort of relationship starts to dwindle away, leaving them nothing.

Don't let resentment of women blind you to their potential struggles.
