Too tall. Silenus is a short-arsed little prick.

does anyone here actually like the sequels after Hyperion?

If Martin Freeman is the answer, you're asking the wrong question.
Richard Burton, resurrected by CGI, should play the Consul.

Holy shit talk about a fucking shit show of a series.

It goes downhill fast, I had to read FoH to see how it ended but all that keats stuff was awful. Both Endymion books were total garbage.

Raul pedo adventure ain't fun at all.

The direct sequel was okay.

The two Endymion books were just kind of befuddling. They were this really strange blend of the sci-fi religious weirdness of Hyperion with a strangely explicit magical girl wish fulfillment romance with a pedophilia angle thrown in.

I think I'm going to use "Raul's Pedo Adventure" from here on out.

Everything in Hyperion comes across as super problematic today.

It's written as if the author was blown away by the spiritual science fiction blend of Dune, but though it needed to be more explicitly straight and white.
