A few decades from now, this film will be universally regarded as one of the Top 10 all time greatest.

Robin Williams mispronounces the name and then says the mass production eva is a hero when it was an antagonist

Was he an incel?

What does it mean?.... Is it symbolism?

>a hero
>a

um nont

Kind of.

Not really. But he did act like one.

>calling the thing that shitted on Asuka a hero
Robin confirmed Reifag

god damn this movie really stuck with me, the scene where he imagines himself in their house but you think its real at first and hes gonna get caught, the nightmare scene, the scene where hes in the room with them with that bigass knife

ffs, movies suck now

>What does it mean?.... Is it symbolism?
It's called acting, since Robin was a huge NGE fan, but his character would have been ignorant of the franchise.

I was the only one who came out of the theater that liked the movie. People expected Patch Adams or some shit, but I was given a nice hot platter of kino and enjoyed it thoroughly.

this shit right here

>Was One Hour Photo ahead of its own time?
Yes. Very underrated kino.
>>calling the thing that shitted on Asuka a hero
>Robin confirmed Reifag
KEK

It was a hero. It fucked up Asuka.

He's just entering the human instrumentality project

Good film that could have been a cult classic if they hadn't made the but fuck retarded decision to show him in a police cell getting questioned at the start of the film

Honestly just ruined the fact he gets caught for no good reason. Movie would have been far more tense not knowing what he was gonna do if he'd survive

Probably my favorite Robin Williams movie. I'm also very partial to the episode of SVU he did. The man was an incredible villain. Insomnia was also carried by him.

>that part where they show nude pics of people

My friend worked at a store like that and they would make copies of all the nudes people would want developed. They had a giant envelope full of them. It's crazy how people would take them knowing the person developing them would see the photos.

>implying that wasn't part of the plan all along to fuel their exhibitionist fetishes

That's probably what some people had in mind.

shut up weeb

Great movie. Will be talked about as a great loner/incel film, like Taxi Driver.

This is an episode of Seinfeld

Pretty much. Sy wasn't getting laid. It was inferred he was abused and photographed as a child. He fixated on that family as it seemed so 'perfect' to him; he goes nuts when he finds out the father is having an affair.

Williams also gave another dark but enjoyable performance in Insomnia.

I just looked up the director and he hasn't done shit since.

Toys was also underrated. It's by no means a great movie, but some of those visuals and sequences were pretty cool.

is there hidden meanings in this movie?

Robin was a rei fag

This movie is so deep.

Holy fuck! That's awful.

what type of movie would the one hour photo director make if he was gonna make another film?
Could he make something similar to Evangelion?
