The (((universities))) want to make students "well rounded." So they make them take literally pointless "General Education" classes, such a Sociology 101, Psyc 101, etc.

Really its a bullshit excuse to make you stay longer (pay more tuition) and buy more books, with the added bonus of indoctrinating students with Marxism.
