season 2 is a fucking masterpiece and this dude is such an extremely underrated actor

S3 and S4 are better
Just because you voted TRUMP doesn't make this guy a good character lmao.
>s3
maybe
>s4
yes
>union guy
>sympathetic to magaheads
He could grease my union any day. Has this dude had any other good roles? I saw him in the office
I don't even care if you're hiding behind some thin layer of gay irony, you're still a flaming faggot for being able to come up with such an awful post
>Best season of a black drug dealer band is a season focused on a white dude
What did they meant by this ?
Season 1 was the only good season. McNulty as a coast guard was incredibly cringe and the Pollack shit was just boring. The Wire isn't that great period.
the end scene of s2 might be the best part of the wire. its fucking painful
youtube.com
>McNulty as a coast guard was incredibly cringe
what the flying fuck does this even mean
How come whites have unhinged shooters like zig and blacks dont?
only fucking retarded racists like season 2 coz of muh white people. is this bait?
8mm
Third Watch
how hinged are you when you're killing your neighbour over a crack rock?
>immediately brings up embarrassing race politics
let me guess, you're americans?
I guess whenever a black committed a murder, there was always a clear reason why. For Zig it was just like, "pushed around long enough and doesn't have an outlet, eventually snaps."
dude season 2 is boring as hell. There is a reason its popular with certain people only
Race politics were a huge theme in the wire you absolute fucking mongoloid. Sit in the corner with the other weak countries while America takes all the weight of difficult discussions off your dainty shoulders.
DC sniper, Navy yard spree killer (had "my ELF weapon" written on his gun, absolutely unhinged), black guy that shot up his office in North Carolina a few months ago. There's been a few

>White cast
>Downfall of America (make america great again) themes
>Incel shooter character
I wonder why so many people here love season 2
>with certain people only
who are those people, and what's your evidence for this?
that's REAL race politics that actually means a damn in the real world, not this embarrassing Yea Forums shit you're spewing out. look at the fucking posts I quoted and you see what I mean
>racist for liking S2
>muh trump
>dude white people are crazy
it's straight out of twitter for fuck sake
how many more of these posts are you going to make? is your sole purpose in life to ruin genuine Yea Forums threads?
He plays another union man in The Deuce. Good show.
People watch the wire and have questions about race. You have a problem with that, you coping European faggot?
>questions about race
what fucking questions? look at the shitty posts i quoted. it's about "dude white people are racist and crazy, fuck trump, right?"

you'd get buried by blue checkmarks over there. must be a scary place for you
sorry OP, this could only be discussed nearly shitpost free on very old Yea Forums, not swaglords nu/tv/
I have no idea what shit is like there, but you certainly do
so go back
noticed that, it's a shame
season 2 highlighted the import of drugs into Baltimore.
his superiors didn't like him actually doing work and taking down the drugs trade.
yeah no shit, I asked how it was "cringe"
s4 only for the nigglets and seeing that in the end the state is at fault for not having enough funds in schools n shit but rather stick it in their pocket. and then you have little nigglets starting to put it in their pocket instead of sharing.
the circle of the devil
oh and i want to add, s2 is more kino though, this scene alone, especially when the music kicks in
It means nothing, he's throwing criticisms into thin air
In other words, principle rather than a dispute over $200 of crack money
Not unlike Elliot Rodgers
>38 replies
>no Nicky's gf's tits
Stelios all day
Most definitely. I have nothing against Season 4 but I got fatigued of baltipoor by that point, and Season 3 was kind of goofy. Seasons 1 and 2 are what blew me away and are perfect chapters in TV history.
Disingenuous to say Barksdale's crew didnt have principles.
>kills an innocent witness after he testified
some principles
His superiors didn't like them cause he was constantly fucking them over, they all thought he was good po leese
If you think zig shot up the Greek front in an effort to be some kind of hero you're delusional.
This. Season 4 is "muh programs: the season", or "dindu nuffin: the season", or perhaps "dem keedz wuz good boyz!: the season".
So you didn't watch it?
>We used ta build memes in this board...
I don't, ziggy was an inexcusable retard. but he wasn't evil like barkdale
Season 2 is the second best season of the whole fucking show specifically because of Frank.
He is kind of the foil to Tony Soprano. Both deal in illegal activity. Both have a family. Both are Alpha as fuck. Tony is a shithead who really only cares about himself and does whatever he has to do to preserve himself. Frank is a good dude who cares about everyone but himself and will do literally anything to make sure his people and family are taken care of and paid even if it means sacrificing himself. His fuckup son was a great dynamic.
3 and half inches of HARD BLUE STEEL.
I woulda hoped if you had learned one lesson from the wire it was that good and evil are relative concepts.
barksdale killed an innocent victim and wallace with zero remorse, he's pure evil and only looking to gain power
Great actor for sure. Totally nailed it. Best part of s2 is Spiros kinda taking Nicky under his wing though
Did you? That is literally what it is.
This entire show is boring and overrated. Season 2 was so boring and all the characters were absolutely terrible
BAD SHOW
Did you miss all the political and police work bits exposing the government as an endless cycle of fuck or get fucked, just the same as Barksdale's crew? When characters kept referencing "the game", what did you think they were talking about?
You sound like someone who has read 3 books in their lifetime.
I'm talking solely about his crew. barksdale was a cold fuck and didn't blink at the thought of innocents getting dragged in. there was no remorse, he was perfectly fine with all the blood on his hands
there's no objective definition of evil, but he is that in my book
Especially later on, season 4 really makes a point that politics is just legalized gang running. Instead of selling crack, your selling marketability and good intentions.
reminder that Clay Davis got away scot free and rich as fuck
>big dick zig
>incel
Season 2 was somehow even worse than season 1.
>nigga that plays the game instead of getting played by it
Based Clay
Nah Wallance was not innocent though. He had an inkling that the kid flipped, and he was right.
If anyone was ruthless it was Stringer. Stringer didn't give a shit about lying to an assassin known for having a code or attacking on Sunday at your Grand-moms house.
Avon respected family and he tried to give the benefit of the doubt more often than Stringer.
Stringer didn't care about any of that, he only understood ruthlessness and doing what needed to be done. I think that's why he ultimately decided to try and go legit, he knew shit was going to catch up to him because he was playing outside the rules of the game.
He was right, they did. Avon survived it all because he always operated within the rules of the game.
Marlow's fate is foreshadowed pretty heavy handed at the end of the series because he is the new Stringer, not the new Avon like the cops paint him. His too ruthless to be like Avon, and he knows its going to catch up to him so he also tries to go legit. But as we find out that doesn't work because he is too ruthless just like Stringer. He know how that ended for stringer, and we know there is a new Omar so you can easily put 2 and 2 together to know what happens to him in the near future.
The whole point of the show is that life and the game is cyclical and there is no breaking, just possibly improving.
But boy did he do a lot of sweating.
Sheeeeeeeeit.
I have not read a book in my entire life, sucker.
I didn’t like season 2, but you’re right that dude is a good actor.
You must have missed the parts of the show that portrayed a politician's stock and trade as saying one thing to a man's face and then stabbing that same man in the back. Cold-blooded. Every man in Barksdales crew had a counterpart working for the state.
Remember Cutty asking Avon for money?
Except it isn't. Nothing in the season had anything to do with meaningless /pol/speak. It delved into the many pitfalls in the school system. Showed the reality of what will come of these kids after class is over. Whatever skills they can absorb in class, they determine how it'll help them on the corner. That environment and its rules influences their every action. Ultimately, in most cases, nothing changes. Some victories like Naymond are weighed against Micheal being absorbed into Marlo's crew. That's fundamentally one of the main aspects of the Wire explored in detail in every season.
It shows.
Not him, but I absolutely love that scene. The way they crack up youtube.com
I know. but again, that isn't my point. there were tons of cold fuckers in the wire, and barksdale was one of them
you conveniently left out the part the part about avon killing an innocent state witness
No one's innocent in this world.
damn dude really activated my almonds
I want to watch this but I'm told you need to watch S1 first, which I'm not interested in. So I guess I won't.
thanks for letting us know
what kind of backwards ass thinking is this?
wow, so this is the power of the zoomer
You sound like someone who doesn't read books
How come?
>i heard chapter 4 is great, but you have to read 1-3 to get there
My cousin Billy Grant cooperated. Went downtown and testified. He deader than 2pac today.
So what's the smart thing to do, skip the boring chapters, grind through them, or not read the book? To me it seems like the last option makes the most sense.
BLUE DIAMOND
nice work genius, why get out of bed? getting dressed is boring
I'm not going to watch an entire season about drug dealers a.k.a. the most boring subject ever. There's never been a good movie about drug dealers. The waterfront union stuff could be really interesting, though, but if I have to watch S1 it's hard to say it'd be worth it.
if drug dealers are a boring subject to you. I don't think any season of the wire is for you
then dont watch it nigger, why even post lol
Cool. I wondered who are the people praising the Wire, is it really just plebs who also love Blow?
you haven't even fucking watched the show you retard, how do you know it's for plebs?
>efyge efyge starts playing
That's why I was asking a question.
so why did the fed tip the greek off here? inside man?
Uhhh... Yes? That dude was dirty. Just shows the reach of these groups, that even the prestigious FBI got moles
That was the manliest shit I've ever seen in a tv show.
you said "is it really", heavily implying you already think that of the viewers. where did you even get this idea?
the show is about the deep-rooted corruption in the US, the drug stuff is just a part of it. boiling it down to a series about street niggas dealing drugs is beyond retarded
why not just give it a shot and drop it if you don't like it? you're already wasting your time here, it's not like you have anything better to do
did you even watch the show?
dont they straight up tell in a later scene why? My memory is shite
>I don't fucking want you there!
RIP Frank
t. brainlet
I thought S2 was a hitpiece done by the show against the unions but it seems that Americans think he was the good guy.
I got your back senpai
You only see them for a few precious moments but they just never leave you

yes, also those epic tits on the Nick's wife
he's pretty based in true blood
>Those fairy daughters
they're total shit compared to violet. whoever wrote her character had some based taste
Except this season was even worse than the last one. Only good seasons are 1,3 and 4.
2 starts pretty boring (especially if you're a disgusting ESL like me and have to look up all the union and shift talk) but it quickly picks up and once it's halfway through it's the best season
And Nick cheats on her anyway
Just finished Season 4 of this, and it's been great, but knowing that Season 5 is the worst season, I have little motivation to continue. That definitely never came close to happening with The Sopranos or Breaking Bad
Reality my ass. Explain why African/Carribean, Blacks, Chinks, and Indians that go to those same shitty schools on average end up going to college and making triple the American Black median income
