>Currently under construction in Los Angeles’s Exposition Park, the museum collection will focus on art that tells stories — including everything from ancient Greek pottery to illustrations created for magazines, comic art, and the art of filmmaking (like storyboards, costumes, props, and visual effects from Star Wars and beyond).
He should build a museum of everything in the Lucasfilm archives.
Dominic Richardson
its a neat idea and i bet the inside of the upside down sneaker is fun to walk around ...but i bet it's expensive and all the exhibits are loaded with a bunch of gay inaccurate over-the-top explanations for all the retards who would go to a george lucas museum
WHERE'S ALL THOSE EXPERIMENTAL MOVIES YOU WHINED THAT YOU COULDN'T MAKE BECAUSE OF STAR WARS BUT HAVEN'T DONE FUCK ALL SINCE 2005 AND SOLD YOUR FUCKING COMPANY SEVERAL YEARS AGO YOU MONEY GRUBBING GREEDY TURKEYNECKED COCKSUCKER?!?FACT!!!

I doubt you've been in a museum once in your entire plebeian life.
David Moore
>tfw we could have had it in Chicago I fucking hate environmentalists
Hudson Edwards
He should have built it in Milwaukee just to spite the RLM nerds.
I hate this type of architecture. It's so constrained by the design, the building cannot be reconfigured or repurposed later when the needs of the building owner and the community changes. These buildings also come with "LEED Gold-certified, ultra-green, solar panels everywhere" bullshit, but the least green buildings are the ones that can't be modified cheaply and get torn down after a few decades instead of lasting 100+ years (not to mention the constant repair required since these buildings all have one-of-a-kind designs, and construction staff always fucks it up somewhere because they couldn't understand the blueprint). Any CO2 saving during the occupancy of the building is completely negated by CO2 expenditure of construction activities and production of building materials that will be brought forward several decades because of the shortened longevity of inflexible "showy" buildings.

>Meanwhile, the Mouse donates .13% of their Black Panther take to A(as in one) STEM program, pays lapdog “journalists” to sing their praises for it, and can’t even be assed to finish their “bonus footage” DLC in their transparent gimmick grab at the number one Box Office spot.
Elijah Myers
it looks so cool from where nobody can see it (why do architects do this)
Ian Hall
>why do architects do this Because they see it on paper and their 3D models
Eli Watson
To be fair, it looks fucking cool from pretty much any angle.
Juan James
>muh CO2 who fucking cares
Isaac Morris
Well knowing that he's sponsoring free entrance for kids to the Academy Museum, he probably wouldn't make it expensive.
Lucas donated every penny of his Mouse money though fucktard.
Kayden Allen
It's also just unnecessarily expensive since you're going to end up paying for two or more constructions for 100 years of site usage instead of one.
Matthew Jackson
It will get more visitors than galaxy's edge.
Julian Perry
To himself. How dumb do you have to be to keep falling for this scam?
Dylan Gomez
The kikes must be seething watching Lucas play with those billions while they still haven't got their investment back and probably never will considering Star Wars is failing in all department, and that little hiatus won't change anything. The fans are going to move on, and their new audience doesn't fucking care, the SW fad is already over to them. Kikes btfo again.
You do of course realize that 1/14 of his net worth in one project is a substantial charitable donation, right? And that’s just one project among several.
