Finally got around to binge watching the first two seasons of pic related.
What the actual fuck is the appeal of this? How have you faggots meme'd up this nothingburger of a 2deep4u farce that makes Evangelion's symbolism look genius.
Literally every episode was basically townie episodes. Fuck these flyover assholes and their boring ass town
>Nothingburger >r*ddit spacing >flyover >takes place in PNW admit you got lynched, and then head back to r/thedonald
Zachary Garcia
Planes fly over the PNW
Colton Bell

>finally watched Season 3 >too much of a brainlett to understand what was going on
Atleast the storylines with Michael Cera and Amanda Seyfried we’re well thought out arcs that had satisfying conclusions
Chase Kelly
I like TP mainly for the comfiness. That explains why I disliked the second half of season 2, FWWM and most of The Return.
There's very little to understand and anyone claiming the contrary is just trying to seem smarter than they actually are. More than half of The Return was filler.
Samuel Hernandez
It's only ironically boring
Ryder Richardson
I almost feel pity for the Lynched like but then again, they're so obnoxious I stop just short of feeling sorry for them.
a thread occasionally popping up amid the sea of star wars, memes and capeshit is "infested"? ok retard
T. brainlet too stupid to understand David Lynch and kino
I would bet money you were front row to see Endgame
Luke Lee
Dude vote for Bernie Sanders lol
Dylan Gutierrez
>Fuck these flyover assholes and their boring ass town Are you such a brainlet that you missed it takes place in Washington state? Put down your fortnite phone and pay attention.
What's filler for you is a deeply enjoyable audiovisual experience for others. >unironically watching films for the plot
There's plenty to understand, but enjoyment doesn't hinge on it because it's not meant to be a cerebral experience for the most part. Films aren't intellectual, or at least they shouldn't be. They're much more like music, designed to speak to your soul. Which is why it's so ridiculous when retards accuse Lynch of being pseudointellectual or pretentious. His work is the polar opposite of it. He's as genuine as a filmmaker can get. That being said, it's actually a very complex work. But it doesn't matter if you don't "get" it on an instinctual level. Which is what it's all about. Either you "get" and like it, or you don't. Any rationalization of either is well after the fact of feeling the work of art and reacting to it.
>getting LYNCHED this hard already and hasn't even reached FWWM let alone The Return hahahaha
Henry Allen
I agree with this, I just hate the fact that a lot of people that claim to adore Lynch's work only do so to fit it with the "smart" crowd.
Jonathan Flores
That's just art in general. I think the people who genuinely get and appreciate it for what it is are typically outweighed by the pretentious, who aren't on the wavelength of the thing at all, but latch onto it anyway for God knows what reasons.
