She looks so awkward here...would still bone tho

Fake it till you make it implies she was biding time until her machine actually worked. When in reality she knew it would never work and was aware that it was a scam from the very beginning.

Idk, the book about her made it seems that she was just delusional.
Like she was caught up in her own fantasy that she could be the next Steve Jobs.

what do you call the shimmy move at 0:15?

It certainly looks that way but maybe it's just something she want people to believe to avoid too much jailtime

reminder that the narative they're pushing about her being a tragic selfdeluded victim of her own dreams is 100% false

;__;

DANCE WAGIE DANCE
MUSH WAGIE MUSH
PUT MY JEWISH SPELL ON YOU

How exactly was this device suppose to work? Does it have n as n nanobots or something?

What's that Asian girls name?

I wish HBO really highlighted that aspect in the doco. Instead they implied that there was a slight chance she could've been a heroic figure had she pulled it off.

Her little bullshit magic box doesn't even sound remotely possible. What fucking moron thought this wasn't a scam?

i wonder how many technicians got AIDs from getting stung by this box and we'll never know because they signed a non-disclosure agreement and can never tell anyone

It was literally miniaturized lab equipment crammed into a box about the size of a microwave oven. At least one engineer in the doc believed it could've worked if everything about it was slightly larger (I doubt it) but Holmes was more concerned about aesthetics.

these people dissregard flag it's a human problem

As a med device fag there is no way that machine would have worked unless there was some breakthrough.

Like most start ups the idea is great but the execution sucks. The fact that she lied to the FDA fucked her from the very start.

At one point one someone told the board that it didn't work and she was like ten seconds from being fired. She some how convinced everyone that everything was under control.

Was the idea ever feasible? ie. was it possible to run a bunch of blood tests from one drop of blood?

Reminder her father was a VP at Enron

All she needed was a skilled engineer to miraculously fix her retard box but instead she was only focused on what to name their cloud platform

heh

No, but aircraft wasn't feasible at some point either

yeah but the wright brothers didn't invent gasoline, aerodynamics, the combustible engine and built a sucky plane all in one go
