you might be baiting with The Sopranos but I unironically agree. excellent acting and easy to watch but it didn't strike me with the same feeling of greatness that the other critically acclaimed shows (the wire, the shield, brba) struck me with. i really wish i could appreciate that show too. what a shame

Seinfeld is fucking garbage, worst """ comedy""" I have ever seen.

At least Friends, The Office, B99 and other shitty comedies have a plot, or drama, or the occasional good joke. Seinfeld is just nonstop jokes and not a single one is even remotely funny.

Either it was only good during the era it was released or it's for people with low IQs, I can't tell which.

It reminds me of the Simpsons or Family Guy; "jokes" without a shred of effort or wit.

Simpsons was iconically good for the first 4-5 seasons.
Same with South Park.
Family Guys wasn't totally bad for the first 3-4 seasons but it was too much Simpsons.

Because I never watched it. I read a synopsis and has zero interest. I don't really respect people who liked the premise enough to watch it.

For some reason it keeps getting made but I literally can't remember a time when it was a consensus well liked show

The first season was good but there was literally no reason to make a second or third. S1 ended fine, there were literally no loose ends. They should have had the confidence to finish the story
