The thing is that once something travels and introduced into another time it creates a never ending loop because there is no beginning or end. Claudia taking the book back in time is a perfect example. He writes the book because it was brought to him by Claudia... So the book has no real origin anymore. To break the cycle you need to break these loops but there's now too many to keep track of since everyone is traveling all over the place. Imo it'll end with their entire dimension's destruction or they'll all be in their neverending loop for eternity.
